Apart from the great view it was a bit disappointing due to small room & other inconsiderate guests.

Amazing views from the main living space. Kangaroos came to just outside the bedroom window at dusk. We picked wild blackberries near the house.

The bedroom was very small and cramped considering the price! Other guests were very noisy both late at night and before sunrise in the morning. Also, overseas guests didn’t respect our property in the fridge, which should be a “given” in a shared kitchen! We have special dietary needs and they helped themselves at breakfast without even asking, leaving us with very little. There should be a sign on the fridge in a few languages (like there is for other things). Highly inappropriate!

Much better than expected

After reading the reviews we were a bit worried that the room would be cold and the water would be cold, and that was definitely not the case. Both the room and the water were really warm and the whole house is really good the views, the comfort is incredible. I highly recommend this place

Good as a value stop over and views are amazing,

The view from the room is very nice.

Rooms have their own bathrooms but share a common kitchen. The bathroom door knob was falling off. The bathroom was cold but shower water was hot with good pressure. The parking is not marked and difficult with all rooms occupied. Accommodation is a long walking distance from the beach and shops.

Lovely getaway in need of a spring clean.

Beautiful views of Apollo Bay

Cleanliness is a definite issue - I read other reviews before booking but didn’t think it would be as obvious. There are a couple of really quick wins in terms of cleaning that would take this guesthouse from a 1/10 for cleanliness to a 6 or 7. Namely: clean the windows throughout - you can’t appreciate the view because the windows are filthy; clean the crushed spider carcass from above the kettle; wipe down the tables in the common areas and remove the dank plastic sheet from the main dining table; remove or tidy the random pieces of junk around the property. All these could be achieved with 1-2 days of dedicated cleaning and would reap huge benefits for your business.

The cleanliness there was rubbish mold the windows where filthy. There was mold everywhere it was nothing like what is advertised. It was so bad. I would like a refund if possible it was disgusting

Could wake up to this

Amazing views! great house with a great open space and a big bed.

It can be hard to reach there at night, but the host gave us very specific directions and even sent us pictures so we had no problems arriving there.

Amazing views from the accommodation. The rooms were really pretty and the beds very comfortable.

The view of the accommodation was amazing. The room itself was quite great too. There was also a common room area which was quite practical.

There were no doors for the bathroom, which can be nice when you are there with your partner, but a bit irritation when you are with your friends there. But this is just personal taste, so in general everything was fine.

The views from the room were beautiful, lovely watching the wild life and waves.

The room had no top blinds, so the sun was in at 5am. There is little privacy, the other people staying have to walk past the windows to access their room. Walls were paper thin, everything from the living room and neighbouring rooms could be heard and the noise continued late into the night.

nice view

couldn’t walk to town and couldn’t lock the door. the room was a bit small and needs updating. need bath mats and hand towels. did not meet any staff. the check in details were very vague leading to some confusion.

Sunrise was beautiful and comfortable room.

The view was awesome as that was the reason I booked it, just disappointed we didn't get to see any kangaroos lol Overall, location was spectacular. The host was very helpful from the moment we arrived and was very welcoming.

Just some little minor issues we had, the bathroom was not very comforting in terms of the floor being wet all the time after use of shower etc and the bath mat used didn't really help, maybe some cloth bath mats to help keep the floors dry would be better. The shower head also kept falling from the stand and had to keep refitting it into the stand which was annoying but either than that everything else was great.
