The location was great but the air conditioning was horrible it was hot and we could not sleep well. If you were to open the window, all the bugs would get on the room
Not a working air conditioner

The whole hotel is extremely instagrammable and beautifully curated. It is comfortable. Staff is kind. The town is magical. Le Moulin is the most iconic/beautiful spot in Lourmarin. Barbara and Camille are particularly lovely people!
Breakfast should have been included. Cost too much money for a family of 4 to eat there every morning which was a real bummer. It's 25 euro a person which is too much considering the spread could have been more impressive and there were a lot of flies on the meat/pastries. YUCK! For an already expensive hotel, this was an really unexpected finding when we got there. 75 euro a morning was not something I felt like starting a day with (at least kids are half priced). Also, our room was heavily decorated with jute (floor/wall/headboard), therefore the room had a strong, odd odor that I found unpleasant. Had to ask for room spray to help mask it.

The restaurant. The worst meal of our trip. having said that, the wine list was good and the setting was gorgeous and beautifully styled.

Good location in a very pretty town
Not a great experience.
We were treated to the worst room/broom closet on property, up 4 floors of stairs. The blond lady at the front enjoyed putting us there. Probably enjoys putting Americans there. We have stayed in plenty of French Airbnb’s with a 4 floor walk up, but when you book a supposedly nice hotel, one doesn’t think we would have that at the top of the Pigeon house. If you go make sure they don’t put you in room 40. It’s at the top of a tower, no way out if there is a fire, bars on the windows and only the staircase up. Really quite unsafe.

The pool was out of service and that was the reason we had booked to stay there so our daughter could swim

Our stay was a dream! I was traveling with my mom through the South of France and knew we had to stay a couple days here to experience the charm. It really is a spectacular village and as beautiful as they say. Staff was so friendly and helpful from check in to check out. They helped with our luggage and just made everything so pleasant the whole stay—even going above and beyond when my Mom wanted a souvenir from the shop that wasn’t open yet, they got it just for her. We especially loved the decor, which really is next level and the restaurant had a hip, cozy vibe. The food was 10/10 as well. Thank you!! I’ll continue to rave about this place to friends and family.
Only that I wish I had more time to experience the pool!

The property is located in one of my favorite villages. The room was beautiful and also comfortable. I loved the rooftop views from my room. The bed was very inviting and comfortable. There is a lot of free parking near the hotel. All of the staff are incredibly kind and helpful. The hotel restaurant was amazing. I will definitely return in the near future.

Hotel ok, room was clean and with nice decor,
Lourmarin has turned into a tourist trap. compared to 25 years ago. a French hell fillled with loud Americans enjoying “authentic France”. Hotel restaurant to be avoided. very expensive, not good, arrogant staff. They charge 25 pp for breakfast, which we skipped after our awful dinner.
