Wonderful stay on Blackwood River offering exceptional value

Beautiful location overlooking the Blackwood River. Rick and Kate were very warm and welcoming and provided a delicious cooked breakfast each morning. Great value and highly recommend.

Perfect getaway!

We loved everything about our stay! Perfect location, the room was a decent size and had everything you'd need. The bathroom was large and the shower was fantastic! The view from the balcony was beautiful and it was lovely being able to get down to the river. The cooked breakfast was very nice and very filling, just perfect to set you up for a nice big walk.

That our two nights went so fast!!

Fabulous! My husband was pleasantly surprised as we have never stayed at a B & B in WA.

We both thought that your signage coming off the Brockman could be better, especially when coming from Nannup way and during the night. The turn does come up quickly and so it's easy to drive past it when you're not familiar.

Kate and Rick were very welcoming hosts. Allowed me use of their kitchen utensils for the bbq they have for guests. The rooms are very clean, well appointed, and the outdoor deck is a lovely place to sit and read a book or take in the beautiful view. The included breakfast was amazing!

Excellent, peaceful and beautiful escape.

On the riverbank, little rabbits and birds. Close to town. Very pleasant, friendly and obliging hosts. Comfortable bed and fantastic shower. beautiful cooked breakfast kept me going until lunchtime.

it was worth the price but as a single pensioner I couldn’t afford to go there too often.

Highly recommend a stay at Rickaty

Very comfortable room with everything you could need. Wonderful breakfast. Beautiful, peaceful location by the river. Hosts Rick and Kate are lovely. Would definitely stay again.

Only a very small thing but signage could be more prominent.

We have stayed with Kate and Rick before. It's like catching up with friends. The location is lovely, looking out over the gardens to the Blackwood River. The rooms are comfortable, and breakfast is amazing.

Picturesque and quiet setting overlooking the Blackwood River. The facilities are of the highest quality and very clean. Kate and Rick are friendly hosts, and the cooked breakfast is superb.

there is a reason for the high scores, it is simple the best B & B I have ever stayed at and the hosts, Rick & K

fantastic hosts, never intruded but always available. enjoyed the morning chats at breakfast, very friendly and the food was fresh and filling, great way to start the day. beautiful property, great setting, a home away from home if there is a room available, book now. you won’t be disappointed

The location was great overlooking the Blackwood River. The Host met us on arrival and gave us information for our stay. The B&B was quiet with lovely sounds of birds. Breakfast was delicious and overall and a top place to spend time in the country.

Beautiful, comfortable and restful

Fantastic base while we cycled in Se\/en over the weekend. Rick and Kate were very welcoming and breakfast was delicious - they have made a very comfortable placed to stay. Loved the view over the gardens and Blackwood river, we even went for a walk along the river just before sunset. The birdlife comes up quite close to the balcony - loved seeing the little wrens!

Absolutely beautiful property and brilliant hosts.

Beautiful garden setting. There are only two rooms with guests so it feels very homely. Kate and Rick are incredibly friendly and hospitable and would certainly return for another stay in the future.

1. Spacious/comfortable room. 2. Location - on the river, 20min walk into town. 3. Cooked breakfast included in room price. 4. Friendly hosts. 5. Netflix

1. Air con/heater - barely enough for the room, seemed to work erratically. 2. WiFi - signal was poor.

Exceptional

Beautiful surroundings and great hosts. From the moment we arrived we fell in love with the place. The rooms have a cute balcony overlooking the river. Kate and Rick are very nice hosts and persons. They go an extra mile to please the guests. You can feel that they like what they are doing. It looks natural and balanced the way they interact with guests. A beautiful karma that it is not easy to find in commercial places. We have booked our next stay!

We did not have time to do the walks as we were playing tennis in a tournament.

A lovely room in a gorgeous location with welcoming hosts.

Rickaty on Blackwood is in a beautiful location, just a short drive (or even a riverside walk) out of town, set within gorgeous gardens overlooking the Blackwood River. The room was very comfortable, and Rick and Kate's breakfasts were amazing!

Nothing to complain about - we loved it!

Breakfast was lovely welcomed into the family home Enjoyed the large windows which allowed ays to watch the antics of her local birdlife.
