Vue sur le fleuve
Stationnement gratuit de la voiture était beaucoup trop loin
Et il n’y avait pas de ventilateur dans la salle de bain.

Elegant and full of vintage and antique furniture. Plenty of things to do on property. A nice place to spend a couple of romantic nights. Pool, restaurants, putting green, golf course, hiking area, views of the river…the food was pricey but absolutely worth every single penny! The best! Beds were comfortable and linens were lovely!
There was nothing we didn’t like. You have to arrive knowing it is a 125 yr old property with a great deal of history and has the feel of a castle or historic building.

My parents stayed at Le Manoir Richelieu in the 1950's so, 73 years later, here I am with my wife. Three nights gave us the time to enjoy all the facilities, visit neighbouring towns and villages, hike, swim, relax. This hotel is featured as a five star first class hotel, one of the "Castles of the North" and it deserves that recognition as the entire property is so expansive and interesting in so many ways.
As a first class five star hotel, in a property with so much elegance and history, it was disappointing, even disturbing, that so many guests dressed so casually. One would expect that, given that the property and its hospitality staff are so perfect and poised, all guests would want to rise to the occasion, be proud to be staying in this amazing "Manoir" and would make an effort to look and behave in a smart manner. While, once upon a time, there were specific dress codes for meal times, maybe first class hotels could have a "recommended attire guideline" that would be helpful to all.

Beautiful location and luxurious hotel for a reasonable price. Breakfast buffet was fantastic. Great indoor and outdoor pools. Really convenient and well-equipped gym. Comfortable rooms.
Beds were a bit small for a family of 4. Shower was slow to drain.

Great location. Staff very professionnal.
Bed uncomfortable. No bottled water in the room, shower faucet defective, general state of property needs an upgrade (lobby carpet need replacement for example), no king size bed available. But still very expensive.

The hotel is very grand with a lot of gilded age charm. The pools and locker rooms are fantastic. Rooms are comfortable and the staff was wonderful. Beautiful views.
The restaurant situation needs some revision. Food is overpriced and very average. We stay in a lot of nice hotels and 40/ per person for a breakfast buffet is a bit on the exorbitant side.

W loves the location
The hotel is tired and in desperate need of a deep cleaning, and updating! The grounds are very sad looking and the patchy roof and siding are a big eye sore. We had dinner in the main restaurant. The service was very slow and the waiter was inattentive. Our main course took an hour to arrive after we waited over a half hour for a salad. Getting a second glads of wine was almost impossible. When our “hanger steaks” arrived they were not actually hanger steaks! They were so tough, hard to cut and harder to chew. Very expensive terrible meal

The view of the St Laurent was beautiful
Great outdoor pool
Breakfast was excellent vith a beautiful view of the St laurent and a great service
Could have a place open to eat for lunch, we needed to drive, and no place to just have a coffee and relax

Great breakfast buffet. The maple crepes are brilliant.
Restaurants a bit expensive. Parking situation somewhat chaotic and poorly signposted. Long walks to the hotel.

Coming to the manoir since 16 years now and I’m just disappointed with the all experience. $400 the night for this. Never again

nice outdoor pool, small but useable fitness room and nice restaurants… yet overpriced.
breakfast was not included with the high price stay and was over priced. You pay a full $35 even if you were to have a banana and some yoghurt..
Rooms seemed outdated for the price of the facility.

Wonderful and charming location, staff and service on point
Rooms in serious need of renovations, better cleaning ... Carpets were nasty, dust everywhere and areas that are obviously never touched

Beautiful location with lovely well kept grounds. Having the casino next door was fun.
The room was very basic. Nothing exceptional to make you want to stay in it. Old style tub with shower instead of a real shower stall. Very limited channel selections. The elevator to floors 6-9 is a long way to get to. We were not able to have a drink or snack at any of the bars as they were taken over for the weekend by a corporate event and all other guests were unable to access them. Very poor policy. Surely one could have been made available.
