The location was right next to a skytrain station which was amazing and so close to the river market which was cute. The staff was friendly and welcoming. The lounge area on our floor was big and pretty and I liked all the artwork.
The hotel is clearly old so parts of it are charming but parts seem like they need an update. I wasn't always sure if things were dirty or just old. The carpet had some stains as well as the shower curtain and some of the surfaces. The little holder for the toiletries was very dusty inside and the bed was very creaky.

Location was central to everything. Room was spacious and clean. Staff were always on hand and ready to answer all my questions. I could not fault the accommodation.
It met ALL my needs and requirements.

Price for 3 nights was very economical (black friday rate). Location is perfect for the train and there are close restaurants. Fridge and desk are good size for doing work and making food. Wifi signal strong and lots of bandwidth.
Cleanliness needs to be improved (carpet cleaning/vaccum, hair on linens, sanitize tv remotes and light switches (greasy), tub needs scrubbing. Front desk staff very low energy and complacent, hard to get even a hello out of them.

Very cool older building, lots of character.
It could get quite noisy outside in the middle of the night but that isn’t the fault of the property.

Small boutique hotel.
We were next to the trains and so noisy and bright

Well organised car parking. Polite staff. Good price for Vancouver.
Gated entrance creates atmosphere of a penal institution. Room poorly cleaned and carpet badly worn and dirty. Outlook of apartment blocks and noisy pub garden.

We liked the Met Hotel. It was clean and priced right. It has a bar and restaurant downstairs. It was close to other restaurants and a really nice park, all within walking distance. We stayed here the night before our cruise. It is a drive to the cruise terminal.
We paid a little more to get a river view. There wasn't much of a view from our room of the Frazer River.

I liked the hotel and location. And pub next door that was fun and good service. We stayed in New Westminster, B.C.. Rooms very well renovated.
I did not like the parking offered across the street at the parade.. My. Nice car had the driver side window smashed out and my cell phone stolen. My car inside is black and so is the phone and I have tinted windows all around. Very hard to see. I went to the front desk at the hotel, and the clerk at the desk said his manager had this done to his car, as well. If they knew this, why do they refer us there AND charge us to park there. I would gladly have gone to a nearby parkade if they had warned about break-ins. I filed a claim with the police department who said this has happened often. They have no security, no lights, no fence around the lot and the police have talked to the hotel about making it safer, but they have not complied so far. People visiting do not know this is not a safe lot. I am now out $300 deductible to get my window repaired, and the hotel did not seem to care this happened to me and my daughter who was with me.I have used booking. Com many times on trips, so I am quite surprised this happened. I know that you would like to know. It should not be happening to people. Thank you for your time. Jean O'Brien.

Clean and reasonable price nice staff. Good location, a little slightly sketchy area of town but I believe very safe. Good value.
I liked everything only downside on this visit was the shower did not work properly as water came out of shower and bath spout but just had enough shower pressure to shower and was fixed immediately. They told me upn check in the problem and would be fixed next day and I was accepting of it. I forgot to tell them the sink faucet also had problems as the handle would keep turning when trying to shut off!

It’s location and it was very clean and modern
The noise from the sky train right behind the building

Good although the hotel is not located in the downtown. However, skytrain station is just beside the hotel. Water dispenser is provided for free at second floor. Bathroom is clean and heater is provided for bath.
The floor of the room was a bit unclean.

good location, can be reached by metro.
mattress is too soft and it hurt my back. The whole hotel is run down and it needs major renovation.

The staff were friendly and very helpful. Desk is manned 24/7. There is a handy mart store almost next door which is great for snacks etc and there is a good size refridgerator in the room. Quality toiletries in bathroom.
This hotel has such potential, very boutiqish but is in dire need of a good cleaning and some TLC. The carpets and upholstered furniture in the halls and especially the room were extremely dirty. There was a condom wrapper under the corner of my bed so vaccuming could not have been done well. The comforter did not appear to be, or smell clean nor did the extra blanket. The charging station was really grimy. The bathroom was fine, clean, good shower etc except the bathroom fan was filthy. Worse was the noise from skytrains as the station was next door. Noise made sleeping very difficult. The ear plugs provided in the room don't help much. The price was decent for Vancouver area and it was close where we needed to be but unless you can overlook those things, look elsewhere. We did not try it, but there is a pub next to it and they give you a 15% off card. A few good eateries close by.

I forgot the iPhone headphones in the room, the iPhone headphones and the output. I contacted them about the issue, and they informed me that they are not there. I'm pretty sure they put it in a room

It is a very cute hotel with wonderful staff and very close to any amenities you could want including next to a skytrain for easy access to Vancouver or any other city.

The staff were friendly and the bed linen was cleaned very well.
Having a bar connected was nice as you didnt have to go far for a quick beer.
Again, the staff were fantastic. Could not fault them.
Having a physical key was nice for a change as opposed to a swipe card.
There's a train station outside the window. The room was not cleaned very well and was grubby. I found a piece of a Narcan kit under the edge of the bed.
The cleaning staff took the contents of my bin and left it on top of the fridge (forgot to throw it out?).
The WiFi is extremely slow.

Nothing
The bedding was very dirty and even found some hair on the pillows. Horrible location with a lot of noise from the street and trains passing by at night. My wife couldn't sleep all night. It seemed like a lot of positive reviews are fake.

Easy access to local amenities and transit. Room was large and clean.
Property and room needed a bit of an update. It felt more like a hosten than a hotel.

It is an older hotel, but was clean and comfortable. The staff was very excellent . Would stay again.
We did not have anything that was a problem .

Staff was friendly and explained things well ie parking
Noise coming from outside. I had booked a room with a “back view” because why pay extra for a front view. Well back view was directly behind the sky train station and above where the trash cans were. So noise could be heard from the sky train til 12-1am and stared back up around 7am. Then around 7am someone was outside throwing away trash into the bins and slamming the covers. The location was also a bit horrible. Right off the Main Street and was a bit “hidden”. Have to find street parking to try to find the parking entrance to the lot across the street.
