Idyllic setting and a great 2 night stay.

Absolutely wonderful cabin room overlooking the lake. The food at the main lodge either in the lounge or restaurant was excellent. Restaurant staff were very good as were the cleaning and transport staff (from the car park). The scenery here is just outstanding. The walk around the lake and the local trails should not be missed.

It would have been helpful for lodge staff to be aware that the lake trail was closed one day due to a grizzly at the end of the lake. The service at Cilantro on the Lake was slow and poor. It is a beautiful spot.

Très jolie lieu mais très peu pratique

Très belle vue et à proximité du lac, personnel très agréable, chambres charmantes et comfortables.

Aucun réseau ni wifi dans la chambre (seulement dans le haul, qui peut être à plusieurs minutes à pied si vous êtes excentré). Parking loin des chambres (besoin de prendre le bus de l'hôtel). Chambres très isolées, sans le minimum pour se nourrir (bouilloire, micro-ondes, nécessaire de vaisselles).

Cosy chalet autour d’un lac

Parfait petit chalet avec cheminée à bois très confortable. Le petit déjeuner incroyable. La balade au nord du lac très sympa. Le personnel

Amazing secret location!

Oh wow! This place is something special. We had a lovely view of the lake from our balcony and the location was so peaceful and serene particularly in the evening. I dare say its as beautiful or more so than some of the more famous lakes but with far fewer tourists. We dinned in the restaurant and made use of the bar and firepit area (they sell smores if you want the real north american experience with a touch of glam!). A great spot for star gazing. We also swam in the lake in the evening, cold but a fantastic experience when you've got a log fire in the room to warm up! Concierege carparking also meant that the resort itself was car free which was lovely

Unfortunatly booking.com and the hotel did not communicate with each other and after much heated debate on check out, the property double charged my card. Which put a bit of a downer on what was otherwise an excellent experience. Never had this problem before, but i might book this place direct next time to save myself the hassel!

Me and my family had a great time at Emerald Lake. It was really nice to get away from everything.

The view of the lake was amazing! The staff was fantastic and the room was clean. We were in the farthest cabin from the lodge and that really made it a quiet experience.

I didn’t mind not having a tv in the room, but some Wi-Fi would have been nice. And when you say no outside food I thought there would be a bigger selection of choices given how much effort would be involved in going somewhere else to eat.

Superb

These cabins are a perfect escape from a busy urban life. The nature is amazing and the complex with its architecture and materials blends perfectly into the place. A fireplace in each room is a huge bonus.

The overnight parking is rather far from the lodges. Considering that there's no mobile coverage in the area and that the administration building is in the middle of the complex, there could be a better signage at the entrance to guide the guests.

Relaxing

the Staff were very accommodating. love the wood burning fireplaces and view of the lake (even when it is snow covered). had a tremendous walk around the lake. Quiet and I actually like the absence of wi-fi.

The room we had is starting to show its age. It was clean but tired. Our dinner at the lodge was very disappointing. we sent back the dismal salad and the bison ribeye was a terrible piece of meat and it was not cheap.

Fantastic Setting at Emerald Lake Lodge

Great location on Emerald Lake and perfect base to situate yourselves if you are interested in hikes in the surrounding areas. Staff were always friendly and helpful. Food always was tasty.

Shame we didn't see Cilantro Cafe open during our 4 night stay at Emerald Lake Lodge. Having the option for small snacks and sandwiches would of been welcomed instead there was just the Lounge menu available from the main building which wasn't exactly lunch like. Hot tub is another facility that if it was open would of been greatly appreciated.

Beautiful but expensive

Emerald Lake is a gorgeous part of the Rocky Mountains and the lodge and cottages are quaint and very charming.

The servers at the lodge are not terribly attentive or professional- which would be fine except the lodge menu and price of cabins are very expensive. so one excepts better service for the prices. The menu is also extremely limited, which gets very old over a three day stay.

it is in a gorgeous location and the surroundings are really beautiful.

It’s a bit tired/run down. The food is nothing special. The front desk staff is inexperienced The hot tub has been closed for months

we’ve been going for Xmas for 5 years. so disappointed with the menus!! we won’t be coming back unless changes are made

cabins need lots of Reno’s especially the bathrooms. needs to be updated!!
