The rooms and the view are amazing, the SPA is really nice just above the sea, the coffee is relaxed and cool like a Starbuck
I would like to have. place with amazing breakfast over the sea with fruit, toasts, etc (when possible :))

Clean; comfortable beds; nice spa; beautiful walks along the ocean.
Service was a total hit or miss and always slow. Food outrageously priced and nothing exceptional about its quality. Last but not least, paid for a room with an ocean view and got a tiny partial glance of the water, blocked by a huge cluster of vegetation. Went to the lobby to request a change and was dismissed coldly by a “no, this is the standard at this hotel”.

we loved it all!

The location was beautiful! A 45 minute drive from LAX (with good traffic), the room was gorgeous, the pool, bar and food scene was fantastic. The meals were pricey, but that was to be expected. You could see whales from your pool lounge chair. It was family and dog friendly, but you could also easily avoid both by going to the adult only pool. The staff were friendly and helpful. Impeccably clean and well kept grounds
It was on the pricey side, but that is to be expected. The only issue I could think of is housekeeping did not come to our room one day and the other day did not refill our coffee K-Cups in the room. A quick call to reception though and they sent some right up.

We have visited many times to meet family for brunch, and spa, but this was our 1st stay-cation, and we will definitely be back!

Location, hotel facilities are still excellent!!! Very relaxing and enjoyable.
Very Expensive, and there is no more bungalow rooms....
We were here for the honeymoon 6 years ago and we pay less than this time for a bungalow room.

We celebrated my daughter’s fifth birthday, and all aspects was amazing. The staff was friendly, food was great and we had a amazing view from my room. My daughter and I had a blast.

The property location, on the cliffs of Rancho Palos Verdes, cannot be beaten for scenery and relative quiet. The restaurants are all good, as was the Lobby Bar and Lounge. The Staff was excellent. Since we live close, we will return to enjoy those again.
The rooms were overpriced based on their decor, size, amenities and worn appearance. Overnight valet parking was $50 for a spot in an exterior parking lot.

Extremely overpriced. Service is 3 star, not 5 stars as claimed. We had food poisoning. Valet parking left our car opened - which is extremely unprofessional

The location is gorgeous.
We had Ants in our bed and all over the room.

Nice room, giant TV, good food at restraunts visited. Food very high priced IMHO.
View from 6th floor room very impressive. Both days Hot and Humid but HVAC in room was able to keep up.
Sound isolaton between rooms A+.
We were on 6th floor. Event at pool below balcony was so loud we had to wear earplugs to get sleep even with drapes/blinds closed.
USB Charging port and outlet next to bed and reading light above bed were inoperative.
Called for porter to pick up bags, waited on hold 10 minutes and gave up. Hauled our own bags.
$50 per night for self parking is extreme rip off. Woudn't mind $25 per night.
Lack of bidet on toilet was disapointing.

Food, pools and resort was lovely.
Our room was 4228. We had an ant infestation all over the room. We woke up and ants were all over our clothes, our bags and in the bathroom as well. We had to move rooms to 5203. Rest of the trip we felt like we were itching even when sleeping from the experience. We did not get much sleep rest of our stay.

The property is beautiful on a cliff overlooking the ocean very well manicured wonderful trails fantastic restaurants and great staff. There’s a slide for the kids (and adults) in the pool and you have to have a spa service unfortunately it’s pricey but the relaxation room you look at the ocean through open glass French doors off a balcony and that view made it worth it for me. plus the pool servers were great! Robert and Jorge.
unfortunately the only room that we could “afford”was a double with two full-size beds just off the lobby. We still had a great ocean view but with all the weddings it was very loud and full sized beds were just hard and small for the 4 of us.

Our major issue- there are several swimming pools advertised BUT one- our preferred - an adult Quiet pool right at oceans edge - was closed weekdays! Furthermore- the spa pool costs over $200 in excess to use and is for spa guests! Awfully disappointing. And..the doors bang shut and the way the rooms are designed- in pockets of twos- you must keep your fingers crossed your neighboring guests are quiet..don't order room service at 5am. Not our case!
