Frühstück etwas spartanisch. Der Einschluss des Frühstücks bei der Buchung beinhaltet nur eine Gutschein, der das Frühstück tatsächlich nur zu einem Teil abdeckt. :-((

location, but…
staff were clueless and could not communicate very well. Fire alarm went off at 7:40 am. Time to get up and get out!

Bathroom was small but beautiful. Very clean, nice tile, nice fixtures and good lighting.
Walls had obvious patches where holes were fixed and not even enough paint over it to hide the patch jobs. Gives it a cheap look. They said parking was across the street but the entrance was around the corner and a bit confusing to find and staff weren’t very helpful. Room is only cleaned every FOUR days during your stay, using the “minimizing contact with others” COVID excuse but we’re past the pandemic now and this seems like just a convenient excuse.

Everything went very well, not one issue.
Parking, but I understand the land restrictions

The Breakfast was fantastic.
The room was really spacious and comfortable. It was good value for money.
The accessibility to the hotel is a little tricky.
It is situated right next to an intersection and since the hotel has no parking, you are left to figure out where to pull up so you can walk up to the front desk and ask where to park

Hall rugs, comfy bed and pillows, lots of cupboard space , friendly helpful staff.
The whole building was too cold. I turned the AC way down....as in less AC in the room. At the Schwanke wedding the room was also freezing and nothing could be done about it.

The location was perfect from the theatre where we were catching a comedy show. It was a quick walk so I didn't need to drive.
Parking was available across the street in a city car park for a price. Did have concerns if my vehicle would be fine.

The hotel is located in the center of the city. Parking area is close to the hotel.
I was in room 527. On the rooftop there is a huge heatexchanger. This device is making a loud noise. During the night the noise was around 63 dB. Due to this noise it is better to not use the rooms that are very close to this heatexchanger

The room was comfortable with the best in-room coffee I have ever had. Staff were very friendly.
The room was comfortable but small for the price. Breakfast the next day was overpriced for what you get. Just too expensive and unimpressive. English muffins on the eggs Benedict were burnt and hard. Quantity wasn't worth two breakfasts for $40.

vintage well maintained
could have had more on site parking but it is right down and parking is very close

Staff is amazing. Great location. Apartment and hotel are very clean.
This is very personal I guess, but the pillows are not comfortable. But I am not a pillow expert. Maybe they are good quality, but I didn’t like them.

we liked everything about the property from the cleanliness to the food to the wonderful staff.

Just this past week I found myself adventuring to a very unknown destination... Kitchener! Hah. Now what is a nice girl like me going to find intriguing in this town? For my birthday I was given a choice of anywhere to stay and I just happened upon a JDV by Hyatt “The Walper Hotel”. Excellent from the moment I arrived. Gorgeous Fall day, centrally located and Ms. Shivani greeted us with a very warm personality and smile. I had requested a quiet sexy room for my 60th and could not have been more surprised. We were personally taken care of by all of the staff... including 2 bonus glasses of champagne after our “out of this world dinner” at TWH Social Bar I Bistro. Delightful, cozy atmosphere and even lively on a Thursday night. We enjoyed Grilled Octopus to perfection, mouth-watering Market Fresh spicy Oysters from PEI, and a roasted Apple, Celery and Maple “melt in your mouth” hearty soup. Our server Miro certainly knew which order we needed to savour all our wonderful choices, including a Watercress Pear & Blue Cheese salad. Excellent suggestions for the palate. Then the next day I was even more impressed by Mr. Jared Traplin, a recently promoted Front Desk Supervisor. What a winning combination of funky style, with a mischievous grin. He is a refreshing, professional representation of the entire hotel. We will definitely be back if we are ever heading south of Muskoka in the near future. Or gee, maybe we will just go out of our way to return. Bravo to the entire team at The Walper Hotel.
