Loved the location and friendly staff. We were checking it out for my sons wedding next year as we are booking a block of rooms.

I had two rooms and one of the beds had sticky red stuff on the frame and stains on the sheets. We called the front desk and they didn’t even offer something of the very expensive room.

The price is just too high, the hotel was virtually empty our 1st night yet the island was busy. I think you have priced yourself out of the market. I am a long-time visitor, and think your renovation is fabulous, YET the view over the water you used to have from restaurant/bar patio is lost. The new bar is fine but no character, without that view.

Great location on Salt Spring Island

House keeping, toiletries in room. This property is looking to be a 5 star rated property, my experience leaves it far from that. The front desk staff were wonderful and most accommodating the view of the harbor is 5 star.

Didn't know exactly what to expect and staying at Harbor House was a special experience!

We had a room facing the water and marina that had very comfortable chairs and a small table and chairs so you could have a snack or cocktail outside...so it was a great perch to appreciate the surroundings. (View in picture) Net net, we felt SO welcome and appreciated. The staff could not have been more accommodating. The restaurant, Woodly's is quite good. Lots of options for breakfast - and very generous servings. Dinner options were plentiful with very interesting additional entrees,

Adequate, but not the best place in this part of the world

Great view from the room and balcony. Comfortable bed. Free tote bag, ideal for the Saturday market!

Staff on arrival were surly and unwelcoming, and generally not very helpful throughout the stay. The room was supposed to have iron and ironing facilities, but none were provided. A very noisy group of people on the balcony of the room next door made afternoons unpleasant.

A perfect "get away" spot with excellent staff and amenities.

This is a very nicely renovated property, in an excellent location with beautiful views of Ganges Harbour. Our room was very clean and spacious with a good size deck with table and chairs. Woodley's restaurant serves very good food and is on an upward track. Breakfasts were ample and delicious. The staff are all very helpful and pleasant. If something isn't quite right, they fix asap.

Not inexpensive hotel to stay at, but very picturesque view and walkable to Ganges.

The view was amazing of water. Our balcony was very spacious. Table and 2 chairs plus 2 loungers

Surprised the hotel was out of body wash. Also didn’t eat in hotel restaurant as wanted a water view. Restaurant was located at back of hotel.

Overall enjoyable. we would probably stay again but dine out for dinner elsewhere.

Very friendly staff. Location is great. Just outside of the congestion of downtown core but close enough to walk to.

While the breakfast service (full or continental) was excellent, the taste of the evening restaurant meal was disappointing compared to everywhere else we ate on the island. Exception was the lemon dessert which was fantastic. Also can hear through the walls to the rooms next door so have to ignore the close proximity.

Very comfortable central location for a 2 day stay; would have enjoyed staying longer

Great location 2 minutes by bicycle from centre of Ganges village, but surprisingly quiet; our room with harbour view and patio was wonderful , very comfortable and spacious with large patio nicely screened from next door rooms (I would not want to be in a room on the other side overlooking the parking lot). Staff were very helpful in providing a secure place to lock our bikes (and are working on creating a permanent bike storage facility).

It was no problem for us, but do note that there are 2 storeys and there is no elevator (they do however offer assistance with luggage).

They should at least put up a sign on each deck to respect your neibour and have quiet time after10.

They used to have an unbelievable breakfast included. Now they have a nice man who sold us 2 coffees and 2 cream bagels for $25

The decks were very loud. You have a million dollar view and a nice deck however if your neighbours choose to stay out on the deck past 11, the noise comes right into your room. The first night I politely asked them to tone it down at 11. The second night I gave up after 2:30 am.
