Superb

Our room was fantastic. Food was great, great company. Jetted tub was the cake topper.

Location is a pro and con. View of the pulp mill during the day is not the best but at night its very pretty with all the lights.

One of the very best bed & breakfasts that we have ever stayed in. The accommodations are first rate. The host is welcoming, helpful, and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious. Overall, simply outstanding!

Very good

Suites were well set up with private access, host met us and provided good breakfasts during our stay. Beautiful gardens and location was good despite being opposite direction from town.

Wonderful place to stay and would definitely stay here again...but hopefully stay longer!

The whole place is gorgeous! The grounds and garden are beautiful, and so is the house. I had such a cozy, comfortable room and the bed is super comfy. Great breakfast and hosts too!

The breakfast was superb; lots of informational conversation with the owners; beautiful accommodations; surrounded by beautiful art; nice walk down by the river; best place we stayed on our trip.

A perfect oasis

I always have a wonderful stay here. Marc and Mirja have created a beautiful oasis. The property and gardens gorgeous - and the rooms and facilities are fantastic. You want for nothing here - they tram have thought if everything to make your stay wonderful including a great breakfast prepared by Marc. Always a great experience.

Owners were very accommodating. Room and food were excellent.

We liked and enjoyed our entire stay. Liked everything about the place.

a perfect bed & breakfast, a super comfy bed, a huge whirlpool bathtub and a relaxing shower! the breakfast every morning was so delicious, especially the pancakes.. we had great talks with the owners. thanks so much for making this stay so amazing!

We enjoyed our stay!

The breakfat was good! It was nice to have own private entrance and an out door patio to sit on. Owner was very informative about the area with good reccomendations

the bed was abit soft but this may have only been my preference.

Wonderful stay in Castlegar

Very clean and pleasant. Lovely artwork to enjoy. Tasty breakfast. Comfortable bed slept well.

The ambient noise from nearby industry is unfortunate. However, once indoors it's not bothersome.

Amazing Gardens

Marc and Mirja (owners) were wonderful hosts and checked and made sure that everything was ok. The property is very well kept and the gardens are a work of art. (Marc’s art). Mirja’s paintings are beautiful and on display throughout.

Disappointing.

A gourmet breakfast was not offered but was implied in advertising. Food served was typical of other BnBs we've stayed in - good but not great.

The BnB is across the river from a massive pulp mill that you can hear when the windows are open. If you advertise bath robes they should be crisp white, not dingy gray. Door to ground floor patio didn't lock. Home is a long way from any restaurants, the closest only serves pub food.

Was a nice quiet location with a super comfortable bed. Loved to jet tub.

Breakfast was good, served hot. Excellent coffee. Walking trails close by with river just across the street.

Would love to stay here again in late summer.

Fantastic couple running this B n B. They built the home intentionally as a B n B and it is outstanding. Beautiful home. They also helped me out when I forgot one of my possessions. I would happily stay with them again.

Amazing place Awesome hosts . great for family and kids . we would love to go back there again

The property is very good , clean rooms and bath rooms with amazing showers . the breakfast was awesome and very filling. Marc's cooking skills are very good . we had the bread that he had baked and it was great . they ask you the night before what you would like for breakfast .. Since we had to leave early in the morning for our drive back Marc was up early and cooked us a great breakfast . he went out of the way to pack breakfast for my daughter who did not want to eat so early . it is located next to the river great views and downtown is not far maybe 5-7 mins by car .

everything was great . and I think in summers it would be awesome . we will go back there again .the views are great and there are a lot of waling trails if you are interested .
