Good experience.

Great experience. Only problems were no ice in the ice machines on any floor but 4…and I was on 3. Staff provided ice when asked. Tables and tops of chest were not dusted in a while. Just asked the staff to double check with cleaner and they did.

Maybe I overlooked it, but I didn't know there was a parking fee. Besides downtown and airport locations, this is the first Hampton Inn I have stayed that was at neither location but still had a parking fee.

Gute Unterkunft für einen Trip in die Hauptstadt

Gute Lage in Alexandria, mit dem Auto 20 Minuten nach Downtown Washington D.C.. Unsere Tochter fand den Außenpool ganz toll, die Zimmer waren wie immer im Hampton Inn gut.

Bel hôtel. Propre. Calme. Notre chambre donnait sur le parking arrière. Parking de devant donne sur la Highway.

Dommage que le parking soit payant maintenant.

I cannot think of anything that would have made this stay better; it was perfect!

The breakfast was one of the best of any hotel! It was so quiet that we felt like we were the only ones there. Room was a very generous size. Hotel is in a beautiful area.

I can't think of anything that could have been better!

The Hampton Inn is a great cost effective hotel.

I think that this Hampton Inm was very comfortable, and I love that the parking charge was only $10. I just wish there was a shuttle to the metro to make touring Washington a lot easier. Overall, this was a great hotel outside of Washington.

Many of the machines in the gym were not working properly. Also, many of the ice machines were not working but overall great stay.

It was okay except for the room being humid

My air conditioner wasn't working, I had to make 3 calls before someone showed up. Once he did, he switched out the unit and the room was still warm. The toilet was to low for me and two many mosquitos in the pool.

Bring your Patience

It was comfortable, clean and it's location was central to where we wanted to go.

The computers were not working properly when we arrived. Rather than explain what the problem was and ask us for our patience, they didn't say anything. There were lots of guests standing, waiting for their turn. I would have appreciated them saying something rather than nothing. It also appeared that there was a changing of crew shifts at the front desk, and or training new staff

Dirty and Inconvenient to Old Town

Affordable and free parking

Worst experience at a Hampton Inn I have ever had. It was dirty. When we got to our room, there were another persons socks still on the floor and old advil pills around the night stand. At breakfast this morning there was a long hair in my husbands eggs. We booked here hoping we could still walk to downtown Old Town but it was too far.

Very close to an Expo we attended for 3 days. It was clean, comfortable, and quiet.

Breakfast was good. The waffle machine is always a hit.

Staying at this hotel made my somber reason for being there, less of a burden.

I went to DC to bury my stepfather in ANC, and stayed at this Hampton Inn, it was located close to Arlington, and everywhere else I needed to go. The staff, room, and service of this hotel were superb. When I checked out, I left some clothes in the closet; my favorite shirt, and they had all the items shipped to my home at no expense to me.

It was a very comfortable stay and the staff was very quick to help with any needs.

Access to transportation to Old Town and Washington DC. Breakfast was well prepared.

The only issue that I observed was that breakfast was closed at !0:00 AM on Saturday whereas the sign on the elevator showed it was to close at 11:00 AM.

Clean, friendly, convenient, and a good value. I would definitely stay here again!

Convenient, well priced, really good breakfast, friendly staff.

A couple minor things. Hallway outside of our room needed vacuuming (bits of paper, bottle cap…) small piece of baseboard missing in room.

We stay here whenever we are in the Washington D. C. area.

The staff is always accommodating and polite. The breakfast is never varied, but fresh and hot.

The toilet in our room seems like it was one for a child. It was way too low to the ground. When we sat down it felt as if we were going to fall with nothing to hang on to. We both had much difficulty standing up due to the lowness. My husband is 6'3" and I am 5"4".

It was okay but could be better.

The room was clean, the workers helpful and the breakfast fine.

The bed was not so comfortable. The temperature regulation was not great, either. The room was too warm for sleep so we lowered the thermostat. The air conditioner would come on for a short while often but each time it did it would make a racket and wake me up. I was so warm I would throw off the blanket and then eventually get cold enough to pull it back so I was either sweating or cold all night long. I woke up with a sore back.

It was cold and not welcoming; staff did not respond to requests for assistance with nonfunctional room amenities and the bathroom was dirty. Additionally it stunk of tobacco in the room. Worst night at a Hampton Inn

When in the area, will stay here again.

Very easy and quick access to downtown Alexandria, probably about 5- minutes, more of course during rush hour. Very good breakfast with lots of options. Room was fine and had better lighting than most today.

Initial entry to the hotel is a little tricky especially at night when your not able to see the lay of the land. The exercise machine with weights & cables (in fitness ctr) was of very limited use because most of the accessories were missing. In addition, one of the two connector links was jammed. One hinge on in room refrigerator had become disconnected. Still worked (magnets hold it) but sort of unattached when opened.

Only a twenty minutes walk from old town and prominent. Nice comfortable room.

Breakfast selection wasn't a great deal but all edible.
