Staff great. Facilities poor.

I signage couldn’t find entrance, key card wouldn’t work then room was t clean them moved rooms. Key card would t work. We where locked out of building stood outside in cold it ducked.

Booking was easy. All in all its comparable to all other hotels in this price range.

We weren't aware that there was breakfast. Location is good. Was under renovations so a bit chaotic.

Cleanliness is key. The cleaner the better! Would have been better if the remote for the tv worked. Staff tried to help but gave us another one that didn't work.

Not impressed with the situation nor the attitude of the employee that was on upon our arrival on Sat Aug 12, 2023

Did not like the fact that when room was booked online there was no notification the facility wads under major renovations. Front door was enclosed with scaffolding & the main entrance was concealed from view. The employee at the front desk was extremely rude & when I commented that there was no indication with the online booking that the facility was under renovations. The employee informed myself & another perspective customer we could go somewhere else. When I book online as the other fellow we did not expect to go somewhere else when traveling to you facility from many kms away to look for another place to stay. The other customer left & did not return because of the employees attitude. We where not compensated with a reduced rate for the inconvenience of the construction.

It will be a nice facility when construction is complete. Management needs to rethink their approach to the inconveniences to their customers.

Easy check in, good food, easy check out

It’s within walking distance of amenities worth checking out, Timmies is nearby, in the hotel next door there is an Indian restaurant, room was comfortable and spacious

It was clearly in the middle of renovation so there was open plywood at the time, my room key didn’t work but then we found it was the locking mechanism, they had it repaired after I left

Good value and suite was well equipped.

Pool, suite and breakfast were good. Would appreciate oatmeal or a gluten free pastry.

Did not know the property was under renovation. Nails in parking lot. Had to move vehicle.

We had to get the Entry Key coded twice & still couldn't get in the door to our floor.....ended up going to the ground floor Entry Door. This was weird because the entry card worked to open up the door to our room!!! Bur NOT the outside door.

The beds were firm

Walls were filthy with not only stains but had goober on the walls, tub was stained and scary looking, bedding was just sheets and a flimsy blanket, construction was going on in the parking lot so had to drag my luggage all the way around the building in rubble

I would definitely go back but not to the unrenovated area with the kitchenette.

The location, that it offers a breakfast, that it has an indoor pool, and that they are renovating.

We got an older unrenovated room this time. The room could of been cleaned a little better.

We will not recommend

We did not stay at the Ramada in Medicine Hat. The place looked trashy upon arrival. The hotel did not have current photos on-line, the owner/manager lied about why the pool and hottub was not working. I will not be recommending this hotel to anyone until I see improvements. Also the manager did not handle the situation with any kind of professionalism.

Comfortable & clean, but very run down and not at all like photos.

Beds were comfortable, shower pressure and temperature were excellent, breakfast was large and tasty

Everything was very old, pool was closed and looks like it's been under repair for a very long time. Rooms haven't been renovated for several decades. Photos on listing are not at all true to what we received. Taps dripped constantly and toilet ran for a long time (not at all environmentally friendly and no recycle program in effect) We were awoken at 230am to guests yelling, large dogs barking and this went on for over 2 hours. Front desk allowed it to go on far too long-no security around, we were scared.

Adequate for a 2 night stay (were visiting family in the city).

Friendly staff.

-Pool and hot tub were temporarily closed when we visited (some kind of repair going on?) The whole pool/hot tub area was 'taped off' and it appeared as if a lot of wood sanding had been going on - rails etc were dust covered. Had it been up and running, it did look like a nice area. -Complimentary breakfast was okay, other similar places we've stayed have had more options other than scrambled eggs/sausages/potatoes plus cereals/toast as options. Area was clean, however, and nicely set up. -Room felt old - cracks in bathroom sink, grout around tub looked a bit grimy. Didn't end up actually using the tub/shower (only there 2 nights). Bed was comfortable, although pillows less so - this is quite consistent with most hotels. - no hair dryer in room - coffee maker, but no tea as an option. No cups in the room to put hot beverage(s) in (only had plastic cups, so grabbed a couple Styrofoam cups from the breakfast room our 1st morning there. Coffee maker had not been cleaned from previous guests. -Unfortunately we arrived on the night of a major snow storm, parking area was not cleared. Also had to walk all the way around the hotel to get to the lobby - could not access it without going outside (in sub zero temps, and deep snow!)
