Would think twice before staying again. Not as well maintained as it looks on the motel's website.

Room was clean and recently updated. Room was quiet. Beds were comfortable.

No screens on windows, so couldn't open them. TV/Cable didn't work. Bedside lamp, clock radio, microwave weren't plugged in. No handle on screen door so couldn't open easily from outside. Parking area and grounds looked dirty and scruffy. Area outside door was dusty/dirty. Bar of soap provided was very poor quality (i.e. didn't lather at all). Lots of mosquitos.

very beautiful location and a well kept up older motel.

Location was right beside the river with a huge lawn area behind the motel. There’s a barbeque and a little kitchen that we could prepare food in. The rooms were comfortable and the beds were nice.

I have no complaints whatsoever about the property

Great Motel beside the river

Great place to stay. Room was very clean, bed so comfy and easy access. We were quite late in arriving but there was someone there but they had left an envelope with the key etc on the door of the reception. Was perfect for what we needed en route to Fernie.

Never been to Canada so maybe that is the normal.

No one in office when I arrived. Key was taped to office door. Never seen a person on site. Could not get heater to work. Called front office at 8 pm and left message. Never received a call or support for heater. Ran hot shower to take bit of cold out of room

My son and I traveled to Grand Forks for a hockey tournament. We were pleasantly surprised by the quality of Johnny’s.

Limited facilities.

Water was hot & beds Ok. Location along river would be enjoyable on a warm day.

Electrical baseboard heating… did not work in bathroom. Small coffee maker did not work. Limited counter/ vanity space.

Excellent value and accommodations!

Excellent place to stay. Manager was very accommodating. Nice clean updated rooms right on river. Carports we’re perfect for motorcycle.

Pleasant and reasonably priced.

The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The hotel was quiet and pet friendly. The location was close enough to amenities and very easily accesible.

The outside light was burnt out. The air conditioning unit was in the way - when not needed due to the season being winter months.

We came for a family funeral and will choose this motel for future visits under better circumstances

The view of the river & green space was a plus, plus the proximity to town without being right downtown.

The lighting could have been better, there was no lamp on the table between the 2 beds in the double room and a second mirror outside of the bathroom in the single bed room would have been a great help.

Money well spent.

The room was clean and comfortable, and appeared to have been updated recently. The bed was great. There was lots of water pressure in the shower. The best part was the little riverside patio table outside my door. I was able to sit in the evening sun and catch up on some correspondence while watching and listening to the water flow by. Despite being adjacent to the highway, it was quiet and felt like we were tucked away in the woods.

A lot of money for one night. Would not stay there again.

Room was clean.

Other customers smoked outside our room. Sheets wouldn’t stay on the mattress. Sheets were very plastic and uncomfortable. Tv did not work in our room.
