Nice enuf.
The balcony option if facing Main St - very noisy - so we ended up moving and eating that upgrade cost. Hot tub was in a super lit up area by a restaurant so didn't use...

We extended our stay for a few more days. We really liked it. This is a really nice traditional Hotel in the center of Moab. Shops and restaurants right across and up the street. City Market grocery store an easy 2 block (5-6 min) walk away. Really convenient. It's one of the older hotels in town, but they keep it nice and well maintained.
Most hotels these days go super cheap on things, but these guys get 'right' what a lot of hotels don't. Here's my list of what they have that is great that a lot of hotels suck at: Old world spanish-style exterior with some charm ...and modern amenities, Great location, Plenty of parking, External hallways (outside) which are usually quieter and don't smell funny like some hotel hallways, Wood floor (not carpeted), Short walk from car to room! Not pet friendly (That's a plus! I *don't* want other people's dirty dogs sleeping on my bed!). Microwave & Refrigerator in room, 2x suitcase stands in king room, Steel tub -- not the usual cheap plastic tub that gets weak and flexible on the bottom! Low step-over height tub/shower! Quality bathroom fixtures, *Real* bar of soap!!! Thick comfy bed, Really good and quiet Trane HVAC unit ...not the el-cheapo kind that makes you deaf by morning! LOL. Dark window coverings that really do block the light, Plenty of lights & plug-ins, Rustic wood trim and matching furniture which was in good condition, Hot breakfast where you can sit inside or outside by the street, Good pool & hot tub, Patio chairs on a veranda. Friendly staff. Hotel manager Kim was friendly and great to talk to.
Most of the new hotels around Moab are simply cookie-cutter chain hotels with odd-smelling hallways that loud kids and dogs run up and down. This place has some charm IMO. We plan to stay here next time we're in Moab!
Not much we didn't like. Gasket on door bottom needed to be replaced in our room. Fresh cut fruit mix in a big bowl would be a great breakfast addition. Also better whole grain breads once in a while. Waffle-maker would be nice (they DO have a pancake maker). Still, the breakfast is definitely two if not three notches above what most hotels offer anymore. FYI, this Best Western is NOT the same the *other* more cookie-cutter Best Western Hotel across the street.

Breakfast
Facility reminded me of an old time motel from years ago without improvement since built.

Location, the view, etc. Little Mexican restaurant next to it has delicious food.
Bathroom was a little small. A/c blew.warm air.

Convenient location in the heart of town within walking distance to restaurants and shopping. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful!
There was only one way into the hotel that you couldn't turn left from the street to enter. Several broken lounge chairs at the pool.

Location
When we checked in we noticed that the Shower curtain in the room was all moldy and looked disgusting. I had to stay there two days.I told the receptionist. They didn't change, just cleaned it :(
