The grounds and views of the mountains & city of Tucson was really beautiful
The bathrooms were updated in modern appearance & very clean.
The furniture in the room should be updated. It is from the 70’s and while on the patio I heard another guest comment the same thing. The carpet in the room looked old & spotted.
4.1
The room was spacious and had a great view.
I opted for the inclusive breakfast package and was very satisfied with the meal. Easily worth what little extra it added to the price.
The bed was a little too soft for my taste.

No longer a resort for families, emphasis appears to be corporate meetings. The public spaces are well maintained and up to date. The bed was comfortable.
It has lost its traditional family designation appeal. That said it is probably a much more profitable business. The $300+/night room was shabby, not furnished for comfort, and the shower room was poorly designed and the whole tile floor flooded and was dangerously slippery.
4.1
Beautiful setting with lovely views. Well kept property with nice plantings and trails. Good restaurant
-Shower took a very long time to warm up (very wasteful of water considering desert setting) and never really got hot.
-If put water bottle out next to coffee maker without a sign saying there is a charge for it, don't charge me for it. Put it in the fridge with a clear sign. Many hotels provide a free water so I did not like being charged $5 for this.

It was such a relaxing stay The room was clean

The rooms were spacious and cozy. The front desk staff and bar staff were very patient, accomodating, helpful and friendly. The property, although old, is very well kept and charming. "Lisa", waitstaff at Gold Restaurant, was very professional and helpful.
The male receptionist at "Gold" restaurant was very uptight and unfriendly. Perhaps he needed instruction on how to interact with hotel guests.

Amazing room, I easily could have moved in!
Bar staff was rude. Meal in restaurant was so so and expensive.

We were upgraded to a larger room, VERY nicely decorated, super comfortable bed with nice couch and TV area. Nice deck which we didn't use due to the extreme heat during our visit. The bathroom and vanity area was just great. Nice small room refrigerator. Probably the most awesome feature was the thermostat controlled a/c....so much better than a window unit found in motels. The room service menu and service were also wonderful.
Nothing, everything was great.

Very good resort, wonderful amenities, amazing staff.
Room was a little dated /damaged. Nothing bad just some chipped paint/stained appliances. A SWAT team woke us up in the middle of the night because there was a hostage situation in the next room. that was a little jarring.
4.1
Excellent location with a great view and perfect facilities to relax and enjoy, spacious room with a perfect infrastructure, delicious restaurants for breakfast, lunch and dinner, very friendly staff.

The location was beautiful and the facilities were clean and comfortable.

everything!
everything was great, the pool had some dead flies that should’ve been netted or taken at least every couples hours or so.
4.1
Having a private hot tub was amazing. The room was quiet and very private.
Some of the staff I interacted with were almost rude. However, I'm from the Midwest and may have expectations based on what I'm used to. That said, I don't think I'd come back for another stay.
4.1
The room was incredible, it was clean and the bed was comfortable
We didn’t get served in the pub. The bartender was busy with other things and we were the second table to leave because we were ignored. You need more staff working if there is a party scheduled.
