Our stay was comfortable but wouldn't recommend anyone to stay here until many updates are made.

Bed was comfortable, staff friendly.

Hotel was very run down, toilets were uneven, key cards for doors were constantly not working, more expensive than what was quoted to us during booking. Our second room has major damage to door where it had been broken into. Lots of safety issues. Needs to be stepped and redone up to code.

Avoid this Hotel

The room was not clean, the bed smelled of cigarettes all over. The A/C made lots of noise, and even if we were transferred to another room we face the same problem. The manager's answer was "this is it" We left the hotel after 2-night although our reservation was for 6 nights.

Disappointed

The location was great. There was a nice restaurant called The Stamford diner, restaurant, bar. The food was good. The staff was great at the restaurant.

My room door had been kicked in previously, the damage was visible. The shower rods were damaged because it appeared to be an altercation and the tiles were sloppily glued back in place. The toilet was damaged too and the caulking made it look really bad. Plus the toilet sat at an angle because it’s obviously broke. The flush was very slow but luckily it did flush. The sink was cracked, the faucet broke. The bed was broke. Every turn we made, the bed made a loud sound that woke me up throughout the night. The smoke detector was also not properly in place. I hope a camera was not installed there.

breakfast was ok. Maybe the best thing about the hotel. It was nice to have a diner right there. Best part of our stay. Staff was nice and accommodating. We had to change rooms. It was too late to find another hotel. Convenient to where we went.

Hotel is smelly. Old and dumpy. It was below standard. Carpet in hallways is nasty and does not even fit on the floor. Whoever manages this hotel has no pride in themselves and frankly it was an embarrassing place to stay and I am embarrassed for the owner. 1st room was really smelly and dirty. Bathroom in second room toilet was disgusting and every area of hallway was unkept and unevenly laid. People were on the phones in the hallway on the 6th floor???? Questionable ?? We couldn't wait to check out. This property needs to be SHUT DOWN!

For the cost of this hotel stay, it wasn’t worth it. From entering the building, the customer service was not well received. The cleanliness of the lobby to the elevators to the hallways to the rooms. Carpets were dirty, cut, and sown with cords. In the hallways, carpets are a tripping hazard. In the room, walls were dirty, mirrors were filthy. Wall carpet falling off wall. Carpet weren’t vacuumed and cleaned. Refrigerator knob broken and refrigerator freezes everything you put in it. In the tight seams of the room and bathroom was hairs, dirt and grimes. Toilet broken, wobbling and leaking from beneath. Tub drain blocked up and bath facet broken-not screwed on but felt off. Hot iron broken and sulfur from iron messed my Jean pant up when ironing. Asked for someone to vacuum and clean mirrors in room and nothing was done. Asked for fresh linens and we didn’t get them right away. Didn’t received a warm welcome and didn’t get much instructions on what amenities that were available to us as your guests for the very first time. It leaves a sour, bitter taste in our mouths and would not recommend this hotel to our friends, families or associates. We were disappointed. So, since we could get out refund back, we bear it out with the intent that we truly can’t wait to leave. I hope something can be done to improve this hotel from the top down and down up. I liked the location and the bed

I always stay at Laquinta hotels. This one wasn’t cleaned properly. There was hair all over the bathroom floor when we got there and the toilet made a squealing sound ALL NIGHT long. It wasn’t a quiet one either.

For the convience of location, It met what I needed.

Close to resturants and downtown and easy ride to the city. Easy to get to from the highway. Staff was super friendly and always there to greet you. Plenty of parking.

The bathroom had a broken shelf, the toliet was not easy to flush. Thin walls, one could hear everything in the hallway. The pool was closed.

Room stay was economical, but we got what we paid for at best.

The breakfast was good and what we expected (cold/hot cereal, juice, coffee, etc.). The breakfast room attendant was pleasant and helpful.

Two things: 1) The room heater was noisy and would run cold for several minutes before putting out heat even with the wall thermostat set higher. 2) Due to two smal staiircases in the lobby up to the elevators, luggage carts could not be moved between entrance doors and the lobby elevators. We had to carry the luggage up and down the staircases.
