Many places were closwd in May (early). Great value, super location for doing the Cabot Trail; charming family hosts, amazing breakfast.

Dunlop Inn is located on the outskirts of Baddeck but still in close proximity to town centre. This Victorian era house is right on the water unlike centrally located Telegraph House Hotel which is part of the group.
Our room was spacious beds comfortable and breakfast perfect
The owners live in the property in low season and thus this explains the very homely atmosphere
It is a perfect stopover on Cabot Trail

centrally located, on the water, lovely hosts, great breakfast
not exactly a property problem but there were people talking loudly on their cell phone in the common areas which took away from the enjoyment so perhaps some rule around cell phone use would be useful

Great place - lovely room.

INCREDIBLE HOUSE AND ROOM! Everything was PERFECT! The house, the room, our bathroom, the location, the shared lounge and the DECK with a fire table!!!!!! Even more amazing - kayaks! We went for a sunrise paddle, was a highlight of our trip. The breakfast was awesome. Just a great time all around. I would LIVE there :) THANK YOU!

Hospitality was excellent. Carl was amazing and helped to tell us what to see in the area.
We had issues with our bedroom door key and it was fixed right away.
All was good

Location, location, location! Right on the water. For those rainy days, loved that the huge TV in the common room had true HD service and also had access to Netflix etc. Sometimes needed, especially if a long stay (ours was 6 night).
We miss a bathtub. Only one of the 5 rooms has access to a bathtub.

Lovely B&B. Wonderful hosts.

Cute B&B in Baddeck with easy walking to everything in town. Stayed only one night, but was comfortable and enjoyed a nice breakfast in the morning outside looking out onto the water. Very peaceful location with water access (we even saw someone go for a swim) and plenty of space to relax.
Typical to an older home, it can be noisy during the night or early as you hear everyone moving about. Luckily, being a pretty quiet town that is about all you will hear!

Loved sitting on deck for breakfast overlooking the water.
Room was small but well appointed with quality dressings
Very friendly hosts
Had one little snag in the room that was looked after promptly.
Not even worth mentioning the blip.

Gorgeous property with an excellent location! It's a waterfront property with its own dock and two kayaks, my kid and I paddled to the island more than a hundred meters away, a wonderful experience. it's next to the Bell museum, where I have learned a lot about the renowned figure and his times. less than 5 minutes walk to the pier. The staff Carl is super helpful and more than 100% patient and responsible. Carl always gives help more than expected. Having breakfast at the back door patio while watching the great view is enjoyable. btw, many books in the lobby, and some introduce local history. Great stay!

The deck out back was beautiful! We wished it wasn’t raining so we could have enjoyed it more.
I didn’t love having the bathroom separate from the room, but we knew when booking that was the case. If we stay again, we’ll get a room with a bathroom.

The location was lovely for people who like to boat. It likely would be a good kick off, home base point to do site seeing in the area.
No TV in the room and no hot breakfast. It was expensive for the quality of stay. We had to find a local hotel to register as there was no one on site.

We LOVED the location with the on-the-water view!
Beds were comfortable, linens soft and room was cozy.
Sitting area indoors had a lovely view of the water.
Outdoor sitting areas were stunning for breakfast!
Walking distance to all the shops and restaurants.
We will definitely book again!
I would have preferred a small fridge in the room, although there was a fridge in the breakfast area that was available for us to use.
I can't really think of anything else.
