This is more of a gite than a classic bed and breakfast as the owners are not onsite. We chose this accommodation for two nights as we wanted to be close to Saint Jean des Pils entrance to Parc National Mauricie a few kilometres away and there was little else on offer.
Firstly the owners were very welcoming and engaging as well as happy to assist you with area information.
It is not a modern facility but it provides basic comfort for a short stay and a little overpriced for what is a two star accommodation but then you are probably paying for its location and lack of hotels in the area
However complements must be given for an outstanding and healthy breakfast.
Although there is a wifi connection there is no mobile signal in the area and you need to travel to a high point to get any connection if you are lucky
In darkness the accommodation has no lighting apart from a small red square neon light at front of building so you can easily miss it on the main street. This also applies to the sign of maison cadorette at the front of property

Very pleasant B&B near to the national park. It was a short pause on our journey and we enjoyed it . The hosts are very nice and helpful, recommended some places to visit . The bedroom size was ok with 2 kids , but less of a matter because of the lounge and outdoor spaces.
The breakfast is amazing with fresh and local products!
The lavatory in the bedroom!

Very good breakfast. Everybody is very kind and tried to help. Room is clean, comfortable and cozy. It locates near to La Mauricie National Park. Restaurants informed were very good with reasonable price. Beautiful place.
English confirmation should be given at the time of booking for non French people.

Great breakfast and wonderful welcoming hosts. The location near the national park was ideal for us. The room was very comfortable and the built in AC unit was very quiet and effective.
Nothing, everything about our stay was wonderful.

very clean, fully equiped kitchen and fridge that are shared with other tourists, pleasantly surprise by the breakfast box

Very cosy hotel close to the national park. The breakfast was awesome and the hosts are very nice.
There were not many dinner options around during weekdays.

The location was fantastic to access Parc National de la Mauricie for hiking which we did each day. The breakfast was also great - lots of selection and Pierre and Nadine were very welcoming and accommodating.
The room itself and the bathroom were small. Fortunately we had great weather and when we did stay indoors, we had access to the common area to play board games.

Breakfast was so good, the owners were very nice and helpful.

Breakfasts were served in a dining room organized in such a way as to meet Covid restrictions - all was very well prepared.
Nothing what we could not like

Beautiful B&B run by the kindest and most caring hosts. Delicious and healthy breakfast in the morning to get your day started and a warm welcome and superb dinner at the bistro after a day at the park! Cannot wait to visit soon again.
Nothing!

Nadine and Pierre went above and beyond to make our stay special! Nadine was present during the majority of our stay and she was always friendly and kind. The entire inn is decorated beautifully, especially the gorgeously-renovated bathrooms. The beds were very comfortable and we appreciated having fans in our rooms since it was quite warm outside. We also really loved the breakfast - the crêpes and quiches were delicious - as well as having access to the on-site restaurant (pizzas are great!).
The parking was a little tricky when we first arrived - Saturday night, so it was busy with restuarant-goers and inn-stayers. But we were able to move our cars into spots before bed. There are no reserved spots for guests, which would have been a nice touch. The only other thing we would have liked is air conditionning, but the fans provided were a great alternative.

Very friendly hosts. Very nice outside bar where we enjoyed drinks and good dinner. Breakfast was more than we expected ! Possibility to enjoy specialty coffees such as espresso, capuccino etc
Nothing to say :)

One of the nicest guesthouse I have done in Québec
Thanks a lot Pierre!

The house is very pretty! All the interior decoration is taking you away from your routine. The breakfast was healthy and tasty. Everythiong was very well organized with the Covid situation and the hosts were nice. Kitchen area has everything you need. Great coffee!
The window in the bathroom can not be oppened. It was a little uncomfortable considering that the bathroom was a ''no ceiling'' construction concept in the bedroom. Also the main windows of the bedroom had no mosquito net, but the hosts told us that maybe they forgot to put them back on.
