Bed and pillows were comfortable
The shower curtain had mold on it. It was ripped at the top which made it hang more. There was mold on the caulk of the wall. Shower floor was stained and looked dirty.

I love everything. It was close to everything. Breakfast was decent. Beds were comfortable.
I told the housekeeping staff we did not need services since my kids were sleeping but I will need towels. The lady looked at me like I was insane and needless to say I did not receive any towels.

The location and access to Washington DC, The Harbor area and local attractions was desirable.
The room and finishes were old. The customer service of the front desk staff was disgraceful. i phoned the front desk on the day of our arrival at 11:55pm to confirm that the room was ready and to secure an early check in as the weather was going to change our plans. I spoke with the manager who confirmed the reservation and informed us that no early check in was possible as the hotel was booked the night before. No problem. When we arrived at 4pm (1 hour after check out) we were informed by the front desk staff that our room was NOT available and that we would need to wait an additional 30mins to 1 hour for a room to be cleaned. I questioned the logic of this statement given that a reservation had been made and confirmed. I also questioned what compensation would be offered given this tremendous inconvenience. The front desk staff response was “I don’t know what to tell you”. I asked the staff to repeat herself because I was certain that I was mistaken. I was not. I requested to speak to and manager, Clarissa, who (only after I reminded her that I had spoken to her at 11:55am and she personally ensured me that my room would be ready at check-in) provided us with a room,
When attending the check out, the staff put her index finger up (the way you would tell a child to be quiet). I just left the room keys and walked away.
