The price is below average for this location. The area is countryside but the hotel name 'Lakeview Inn' is misleading. It is on a city street with large trees and old mansions, but nowhere near Lake Brome. Nice front porch, You've got to like the Victorian Age to appreciate this place!
It is dark. Very few amenities, Restaurant and bar were closed, Minimal toileteries. Bed and pillows not comfortable, Carpets everywhere. No more than 8 cars in the parking, no guests to be seen around in hallways & in multiple public areas of the hotel!

Victorian charm, historical references
Offering guests a kettle for their room along with ceramic mugs would be a helpful gesture on arrival - letting guests know how to acquire an iron and ironing board would also be appreciated

Fabulous location--great rooms, we were upgraded to suites--they were perfect for us. The weather was perfect--we had a wonderful time.
It would have been great if their "pub" had been open but it was a bit off season and due to Covid issues was not available.
Not a complaint, just an observation.

Location, as was attending funeral for family in Knowlton and had brought people from the city I needed to drop off in town. Gorgeous Victorian style in I had wanted to stay in for over 30 yrs as love these Inns. Mattress comfortable. Nice sized room.
I was supposed to be checked until 10 pm according to site, but got call at 8pm that they were closing and key was left in envelope outside, so I didn't see any staff till check out and all I got when I checked out was "thank you, have a good day". Pillows were horrible. TV very outdated. No tea or coffee in room and no breakfast in Hotel or coffee provided. Fan comes on with light in bathroom and it was so loud. I dislike this feature intensely, If you keep at least get the new styles that are quiet.

Wonderful and authentic old hotel (1874) filled with amazing objects and furnishings but fully modern as to plumbing and beds etc. We loved sitting on the wide verandah.Friendly staff. Bike storage. Great location.
Unfortunately due to difficulties in finding employees and Covid there was no food service.

We loved the old Victorian decor of the Inn. The staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was small, but comfortable, clean and quiet; just what we needed.
We were sorry there was no food service at the Inn anymore, but they did have coffee in the lobby in the morning.
