If this is Canada's Best Value, I would hate to see their worst.

Not much.

The room was dreary, the bed covering and sofa both had a multitude of stains on them, the ceilings were office style sound tiles with unwelcoming fluorescent light fixtures. The safety lock on the door was broken was broken. From the other reviews I read, I expected a lot more. Slapping a coat of paint on the outside of the building does not qualify as renovated, in my opinion. Even though it is stated that there is no smoking in the rooms, it smelled like stale cigerates.

The room was highly perfume scented. Way too strong. I would prefer a non rented room. Otherwise I would have stayed longer.

Breakfast was continental. Not very good. Limited selection.

Cheap, yet accomodating

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The beds seemed new and were very comfortable. The location was pretty quiet.

All the pillowcases were stained and smelled unwashed, as if someone had just slept on them. Half of the towels were also stained. The furnishings were in rough shape.

Convenient spot. Cheap. They newly changed their coffee maker. I had to plug it and take out some plastic protections. Now have Keurig monocups.

Very strong odor of lemon desinfectent.

Unpleasant

I liked that it was clean. The clerk was pleasant up until a banned visitor came to see me.

I liked everything up until I got told to leave because I had my aunty drop off my glasses, who turned out to be banned, they didn't even know that they were banned. And for being there only two hours they kept half of the money. Whochbi thought was all unprofessional tbh.

Great location. Just off the highway. Room for parking truck and trailer. Greeting staff very friendly

The room was very cold with no functional thermostat. The outdoors stairs were covered with ice and snow The room could be cleaner. Cigarette burn on the side of bathtub

Exceptional

Good location but left before daylight. Just needed nice room that I could park right in front of the door. Get a good nights sleep and quickly hit the road for a long planned drive the next day. It’s nice there are still motels you can park in front of the door.

Bare bones and basic

The property looks a pretty run down and is surrounded by vacant lots and derelict buildings. The room was fine to sleep in, but I wouldn’t want to stay any longer… pretty depressing place.

Definitely a great little place to stay!

The staff actually called to see why I hadn't arrived at my scheduled check-in time. They wanted to make sure that I wasn't stuck on the Taylor Hill, or something. I REALLY appreciated that phone call. I was just running late, but anything could have happened. That caring, personal touch is rare to find. It definitely makes the Blue Belle Motel a true gem in my books!

Overall, I was very happy. No complaints, other than the bed was slightly stiff. A bit too hard for me. But, that's just a personal preference.

pleasantly surprised.

Very comfortable extremely well-made bed - must have been trained by a US Marine Sgt - clean, sizeable rooms.

Very small toilets - it's the architect's fault, the door opens inwards and has to clear the toilet.

Great place to rest on our way to the Yukon

Good location, next door to a lot of amenities. Good value for the price, as the hotel upgraded us to a double room at no additional cost.
