I was driving from Ontario to BC and I saw that the Quest motel had great ratings, and it worked well in my schedule. The night before, I had stayed at a super scuzzy terrible disgusting, really, motel in Ignace (I recommend giving this town a miss, travelers) and paid $113 for the privilege of cleaning my own room (it was FILTHY). Fast forward to the next night - when I arrived at the Quest Motel it was SO, SO clean, lovely, quiet, and the price was unbeatable. The staff were welcoming and friendly, and I had an excellent night's sleep. The Quest motel was THE BEST MOTEL OF THE TRIP!!!
I have zero complaints about the Quest Motel and I can't wait to stay there again and recommend it to everyone I know.

This family-owned motel absolutely surpassed our expectations even though I had read glowing reviews about it. The owner showed us to the room and made sure everything was in order. It was a surprise to see how lovely the room was. The sheets and pillow cases have little embroidered flowers on them, a very nice touch. The room was absolutely spotless. It appears that a lot of time and effort has been taken to make the rooms so modern. I would highly recommend staying at this motel.
The only possible thing to have made it better would be a hairdryer in the room but I’m sure that if I’d asked for one it would have been available.

We were at the end of our 7 week vacation that included approximately 17 different motels, and i said to myself one last time "please don't be a dump". It sure wasn't! It was by far the cleanest place we had stayed. It was thoughtfully updated for functionality and style. This was the first place we stayed that had enough charging stations as well as the most comfortable bed on our trip. The chairs weren't wobbly at the table and there was no dirt or dust or bugs to be found. The lady that checked us in was very pleasant and ran down to the room to drop off 2 cold bottles of water for us before we got there. So kind on such a hot day. Lastly we both have arthritis problems with hips and knees and we were thrilled to sit on a toilet that was the proper height for adults rather than 3 year old children which we found a lot of in eastern Canada.

The room was so adorable. Really uniquely decorated that made it feel very homey. Extremely clean as well, so much so I tried to book another nite, but didnt care for room or price offered. Loved I could park right outside my door n no stairs! Walked to town for food but didnt care for the place. Very seedy looking town.
Was disappointed with what was offered for a second nite, no where as nice as room I stayed, n price jumped up as well. Owner said she has workers that stay all week, so not much luck for travellers.

Very nicely renovated with attention to detail. Kitchen facilities provided which was unexpected. Very reasonably priced.
Older motel with poor ventilation so the room was stuffy .

That we were able to reserve a pet friendly room on route and know we had a place to stay.
That the person at the desk was so rude. Sent us to Whitewood Inn. Where I would go again rather than ever deal with her again. Why she confirmed the increased rate and then would not rent us a room is just too weird. We were not alone. I read a review where a couple who did not have a dog were sent away anyway by a woman saying no pets, not pets repeatedly. There is something strange about the way they operate. They are listed as pet friendly. We have a blind senior Yorkiepoo.

It was so cozy and charming. Loved the mix of modern and quaint with the modern fixtures, lighting and blinds and quaint touches like the quilted comforter and hand embroidered touches on the sheets and pillow cases. Very fresh and clean with exceptional value for your money. Easy access off the #1 highway.
