For a brief LA trip (especially for those who are going to Universal Studios), this hotel is perfect. It is very affordable and relatively safe (all the rooms are on the 2nd floor or higher). It has all the necessities, including shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a safe, soundproofing between rooms, reliable WiFi, and parking. Rooms also include a fridge and microwave, which my group found incredibly useful. And of course, the location is unbeatable.
This is a 2-star hotel, so adjust your expectations accordingly. These downsides are not dealbreakers but can be annoying. The door and window face the outside walkway, so you can hear people walking by your door and traffic from the street. (In general, noise levels are low, but beware if you are sensitive to noise.) Additionally, parking spaces were incredibly tight, the blankets were thin (although you can request more), and room circulation wasn't great.

There is a nice little restaurant located right next to the building if you’re looking for a basic menu
Air conditioning will keep you up all night they are so loud also keep an eye on your belongings as I ended up missing One of my personal items I did go complain and they said they would check back but of course
There going not admit to them taking your belongings because That would I mean they would have to admit to stealing be careful with your belongings do not leave them out

Close to Hollywood Bowl. Very friendly staff. Security guard was very helpful pointing us to our room and finding easy parking stall.
Room smelled of marijuana.

We loved the nice friendly courteous reception we received from the staff upon arrival. After driving 12 hours and seeing friendly people was a huge plus. The rooms were comfortable and spacious enough. It was in a great location close to several destination areas we were visiting. Our kids loved the depth of the pool. They enjoyed it very much.
It was fairly noisy from the traffic but it's understandable since the hotel was in a busy part of town on a busy street.

Room interior layout uses the space nicely. Lots of amenities like a keurig, microwave, iron w/board, blow dryer, timer for bathroom light, ambient night lighting. Definitely going to rebook if I'm in the area!
The elevator is a bit glitchy. Kept taking us to the 3rd floor from the 1st when we pressed 2nd floor button. Didn't notice where the stairs were until I have plenty of downtime form waiting on the elevator. Surprise $20 parking fee with parking fee tax of $4. I know parking in LA is bad, but this would have been nice to know when I was originally booking.

the location was very convenient, parking was a little tight but about as good as it gets in downtown Hollywood. Check in and check out was fast and easy
No breakfast, beds were pretty stiff and uncomfortable for $200 a night

Paper thin walls. Way overpriced for the size and quality of the room. Parking was so difficult you practically needed a can opener to get your car in and out.

The hotels location is excellent
Water was cold when trying to take a shower and shave. Room has very little amenities but was comfortable enough for 3 day stay

Great “budget” property. Walking distance to the Hollywood Bowl (which is why we picked it, saved on parking and didn’t have to wait in traffic when leaving). Staff was friendly and courteous (even called to make sure we had a good check-in experience). The restaurant had tasty Mexican food and fast service.

I like that it was clean and had the soda machine next to the room.
I didn't like that they had no hot water for my shower which I tested the water the day I checked in and the next morning no hot water to take a shower. So I had a cold shower. Also I didn't like that when I called to ask the lady over the phone how much will they charge me additional with my credit card she said $50 and $10 for parking which was not true . When I got there they charged me for a room but I already paid a month a head of time. Also they had only 2 towels in my room and the know I had a family of 4 staying in the hotel. Also the toilet was low to the ground it was like a kids toilet. So with all that happened to me I wouldn't come back .

Reserved two queen beds, was given two full beds for three people. Very uncomfortable. Will probably not use booking.com due to this error.

close to everything
they didn’t switch our towels and they did not have a smart tv plus they charged us a daily parking fee although the parking lot is on the property. no room service our beds were not made nor the room cleaned during our stay

Close to Hollywood Boulevard and Tourist buses. Relatively affordable considering LA prices.
Our room smelt strongly of mould and mildew and was generally damp. One of the lights in the room did not work. The wall had multiple holes in it and was also patched up in one spot. The shower curtain was wet upon arrival and was worse for wear.
The property was not secure. When coming back to our room at approx. 11pm, a homeless person was seen wandering around outside our door. The following morning a fight broke out between two people outside the door to our room.
