The staff was friendly. And the beds were very comfortable. Nice spacious room.
The room has old carpet. It did look like it had a recent shampoo. And the room was clean. But the chemical smell of the room was overwhelming (Carpet cleaner im guessing). Thankfully I could open a window. Then I left for a few hrs to shop downtown. Once returned, the smell had dissipated mostly. But I could still smell it all night, even with leaving the window open. I ended up needing tylenol cause it gave me a headache. I will add I can be very sensitive to sents.
I don't need a fancy room to be happy. Just a comfortable bed...which they had.Very happy with the bed!!! If I could guarantee the room wouldn't have that smell, I would book again.

Room was very clean and warm, coffee bar in room great. Great to have a fridge and microwave. Great to have extra rolls of toilet paper in the room. Room was a great size.
The room was not checked after the first night. Just needed coffee bar refreshed and garbage removed but not done. Would have been more comfy if the breakfast room was open. It was winter but I believe they could have stocked a few loaves of bread, muffins, yogurt, juice, coffee bar; inexpensive items that could have been provided for the number of guests that were booked in the hotel for that night. That would make it much easier for the guests in the event of snow and ice storms.

We got the queen suite and the bathroom was gigantic and swank. The photos didn’t do it justice. 3 people can fit in that jacuzzi tub. The bed was extremely comfortable. While the layout is weird (bay window looked out onto a hallway, so definitely some weird renovation update went on at one point) and you could hear anyone going down the hall, overall the experience was excellent.
The room did smell of cigarette smoke upon entry (big no smoking sign on the door as we entered, ironically) but in an older facility like this I’m sure it’s difficult to eradicate the smell.
The smell of smoke in the room.

The room was nice, comfortable and had what we needed. It was conveniently located for all our site seeing needs! They updated the rooms, when you drive in, it feels like it's going to be an old hotel, but once you walk into your room, you have a nice updated space!
The breakfast could be improved, maybe add fruit. The coffee also wasn't great.

On first impression, it looks a little tired - but it was fine.

The room was very nice with a large bathroom and shower area. The staff were friendly.
The entrance hallway to our room was very long due to an entrance at each end only with staircase up to the hallway doors.

The night receptionist was very nice and tried to help.
There was no air conditioning although they advertise there is. The room was stale and musty. There were big cobwebs hanging off the curtains. The windows were old and dirty. It was awful for the price they charge.

Exterior is a little run down but the room was exceptional in space, amenities and comfort. Lots of hot water, pressure could be a little higher. Breakfast was tasty, with variety and plenty of food.

No complaints for this price

room was clean, bed was ok, they need to upgrade to queen beds in rooms. breakfast was good, dining room was clean.
Noise late at night by other customers, children being loud. Management should have dealt with situation that went on for quite sometime into the night. Only complaint on facility.

Location
Was not sure how to indicate to room maintenance people to have our beds and room serviced every night or even if that was an option

Location = Very close to downtown.
This hotel requires a major basic updates. For the price, the basic cleanliness outside the hotel, main areas, and rooms were lacking. Very disappointing.

The Manager
Was extremely nice and accommodating.
Front desk lady was super ignorant .

Relatively noise-free which is quite a feat given that it is family-oriented with lots of little kids. The room was quite clean which was great. The bed was comfortable, the AC worked well. That's all I was really looking for so they delivered.
When first coming to the hotel, the parking lot was falling apart and it set the tone for a place that has seen better days but is in process of being rebuilt by its current owners. They are proud of their swimming pool but I would never swim in something typically used as a toilet by little kids. Only room negative was a lack of light for the entry part of the room
