The beds were incredibly comfortable. The room was a large size and we had a gorgeous ocean view.
The taxes on the room were very high and the parking was $75 which is ridiculous when you’re paying that much money

Lobby is very beautiful and room pictures are as described! So close to the beach and little shops inside the hotel plus food.
Elevator’s worked when they wanted to, workers were friendly and decent except a few. It was average, just don’t recommend going to the pool with your kids, there was a lot of people drinking in the pool and to hectic.

I liked the location of the hotel
The cost of the hotel for what I was getting. The cost for parking. All overpriced.

Property was just in the perfect location. Walk to the beach and restaurants.
The staff are unfortunately crooks. The day I checked out I called them and told them I left a pair of Jordan sneakers in my room. They didn’t let me go and get them and said they will call later on. I called 3 times the day we checked out and nothing. Called again the following day and nothing. Finally the day after we checked out they called and said sorry we didn’t find anything in your room. Enjoy the new Jordans Berkeley staff member. Can’t be trusted in your room!!

The location and the staff at front desk were very nice
It was dirty . Gross stuff on the blind and on the pictures on the wall. Curtains had holes in them. Tub took forever to drain so you were standing in dirty water while showering . The AC was super loud and didn’t work well.

We liked the pool area and cafe
Rooms were a bit outdated, though passable. No soap in our bathroom, only shampoo and conditioner.

By the beach and everything conveniently
It said ocean view but the view was more of the building and the HVAC units. Very disappointing. The ice machines were not working on 3 floors and the room was smaller than my bedroom. Not worth the price. Also had to pay extra for parking which had to be valet and extra for late check out.

Staff was excellent and a pleasure to work with in accommodating my needs.
It would have been nice to have the lounge open.

What breakfast?, just over heated old coffee
I was told the only parking options parking on the street or valet parking for $50.00 per day.
I have been to luxury hotels that provided more amenities for lower rates.
This is hotel that had better days nearly 100 years ago, I wouldn’t stay in this hotel ever again and I will advised anyone I know about what to expect.

Front desk staff, particularly Shea, were delightful and very helpful. We had a few "hiccups" but staff was on it immediately! Location is super...directly across the street from the beach. We'd also like to mention and thank Juan who helped with our luggage etc. He was so accommodating and kind...hilarious too. We loved him! Both Shea and Juan went out of their way for us. We received a room upgrade and even a complimentary 2 hour late check out. Will definitely be back. My first time there and my first time visiting Asbury Park. My new go to for sure.
Nothing. Loved everything about our stay.

The location is the best but all the extra charges are extravagant. So is parking. And what is up with the 1 tiny little soap for 4 people?
The staff was very helpful and pleasant.
Berkeley the dog, was adorable. We haven't seen him in previous visits.
See above statement.

The room was good with a great view. I do like a separate area with the bowl and mirror in the bathroom. I need to refrigerate medication and they did provide a refrigerator at no additional chare.
Parking was ridiculous! We drove around for over half an hour to find a parking space. I was old there would be free coffee at the pizza sop until 10AM only to find it was only until 9AM and I had asked three different people. Very disappointed.

Everything was great! I asked for an oven view for my birthday and they were able to accommodate which made me really happy. Front desk, bellmen and valet were all amazing.
Little disappointed the pool was down and didn't at least get a resort fee refund. Bed was a little stiff but still pretty comfy

The room was okay staff was somewhat helpful
Description said beachfront it was not it’s was across the street and past a large building. Plus xtra to get on the beach every day. Parking was $65 a day plus a $25 day fee for Wi-Fi. This should be included in the price of the room when booking. This added $90 a day to our trip. After cleaning our room housekeeping left are door open all day while we were at the beach luckily nothing was missing. We told them at the front desk and got a lot of run around say the had to talk to their manager. No frig in our room not great for a 3 night trip.

The hotel was very well maintained, the staff was very friendly and even got us an upgrade! The room was spacious and clean.

Staff was very friendly. Bartender had a great personality and was very engaging. Pool area was very clean with an attentive staff as well

Beautiful room, very comfortable with a lovely view. The location was great, close to the beach and boardwalk. We went to the Stone Pony for a concert and it was a quick walk!
There was no coffee available in the morning! There was a station set up on 1st floor with boiling water but no coffee. I asked at front desk about coffee and then there was confusion re why there was no coffee and they stated that it would be out shortly. I waited for approx 10 mins and still no coffee. A coffee pot in the room would have been a good solution!
In addition front desk staff had very little information regarding breakfast locations nearby and recommended a diner that they stated was a 10 min drive. We did our own research and found good breakfast options nearby and we walked to Ocean Grove and had a delicious breakfast at The Starving Artist!
3.5
When we arrived they didn’t have open valet parking and all street parking was taken. There should be enough parking available for guests.

They upgraded our room to an ocean view because the parking provided by the hotel was full.

The bellman was great. The front desk guy at 5:30 AM was very helpful and went and got my car -which he had to do because you don’t have a Valet on in the morning, which I think is a subpar idea at $65 a car!!!! Also you missed our wake up call!! And that’s why your ratings went down for me. How can you do that? Ridiculous. What year is this? It should be automated. You should puck up my parking charge because it ruined my morning & I almost missed a very important meeting.
The fact that you didn’t make our wake up call!! See above. And the fact that you don’t have a Valet on in the morning. People leave early for meetings. Get a clue. Thankfully the front desk gentleman was very helpful and helped me find my car. Also for your rate include bottled water at least.
