The staff were very friendly. Check in was quick and our room was very comfortable. In the morning, the complimentary coffee at the front desk was perfect for road coffee when checking out. We were there less than 12 hours but it was a quiet, restful stay before we continued on to our destination.

I like the location, close to the highway and visible from the highway. The rooms are nice and very comfortable. There are many food choices around the hotel and a gas station next door. It is very convenient.
I asked for a top floor room away from the elevators so I didn't have people thumping above me or kids running above me, and so I don't have to listen to people talking by the elevator or coming off the elevator drunk and loud in the wee hours. I repeated my request upon checking in. I was put on the top floor but four doors down from the elevators. I just accepted it and settled into my room hoping for the best rather than return to the desk to request a room change.
At 11 PM I heard men talking in the hallway. I had my ear plugs in and could still hear them chatting. At 11:05 PM I looked into the hallway. No one was there. I assumed they were leaving and/or getting on the elevator around the corner. I went back into my room. They continued to talk. I gave it another 10 minutes. They continued to talk. At 11:20 PM I went into the hall. I was in my pyjamas and without my key so I called out, "What is all the noise about?" One of the men came around the corner to ask if I was speaking to them. I said I was. I asked if they had a room that they might chat in rather than by the elevators. He said, "Possibly." He then accused me of being rude. I said, "Oh. I'm rude. You're talking in the hallway for 20 minutes or more after 11 PM when you could go to your room to talk." He argued with me. I told him I'd just call the front desk, which I then did. I asked that they deal with the men talking in the hall after 11 PM.
It is unfortunate that I must even ask for a room away from elevators when I check into a hotel but the truth is people are so inconsiderate that I must. Personally, I would never chat like that in a hotel corridor at any time much less after 11 PM. But people only care about their own needs. The hotel does have leather chairs outside the elevators. I suggest they move these. People can go to the lobby to chat.
There were also kids running and laughing in the corridor after 11 PM.

The food at the restaurant is very good.
