Asked numerous times for a walk in shower, was told I would get one at the Reception only to find a bath shower combo. Suite was large but bathroom awful and tiny with bath and shower curtain :(
Bathroom. Staff too couldn't care less.
3.7
Very little . Dark , impersonal
Most things , especially poor service
3.7
Had a room upgrade and complimentary breakfast.
Bathroom could use a facelift.

It was a good hotel friendly staff.
Just a little bit far from the street did a lot of walking.

Everything but reception services and housekeeping.
reception and room amenities - shower gel, shampoo, etc. I stood in front of the reception area for good 5 min before the gentlemen at the counter even acknowledged me by lifting his head and pointing to the phone. Then another receptionist strolled in, ignored me, paged someone that some room is missing shower gel (which I found funny at the time) and went back to a side room. After a few minutes she came out and only then acknowledged me. After checking in the receptionists' services remained bad - putting us on hold and saying he is busy with 10 people standing in front of him when all we wanted is to find out where we can get some ice and then of course empty shower gel and conditioner bottles in the shower we needed to call about. My understanding is they are understaffed and demonstrate it to the customers on purpose hoping for management's reactions to a bad review.

the breakfast was great lots of variety and the staff were very friendly and helpful, everything else clean the booths were great and comfy
we had a panel in our room come away from the wall and made the main desk aware and they did send someone up but we did have to ring back to ask as we went for dinner and it wasnt fixed when we got back

Spacious room with clean and comfortable bed.
The room was booked with breakfast. But I was told that breakfast not included when check in. After showing staff my booking detail, breakfast vouchers had been issued. 4 pm check in time was bit late.

it’s location near Railway station and downtown.
They charged me extra for parking on its lot, then they wanted more money for better WiFi.
free WiFi did not work properly, said I could not use it on more than one device. No free coffee in the lobby for guests. i feel I paid more than fair amount/day to stay here. I did not had to pay for any of this elsewhere in my entire Alaska trip.

conveniently located near Railway station.
as much as I paid for the room, I had to pay extra $19 for parking, WiFi was bad, kept disconnecting, they wanted another $10 for stronger WiFi service. No free coffee in the morning for guests.
this should’ve been included in the room charges. Let’s be honest, this is not New York Manhattan.

Went there to swim and wasn't working, the security guy made my husband feel like he did t belong there when he went out to the car real fast and came back in. Let some white preppy guys walk by and didn't stop them but stopped my husband asking where and what he was doing. Our key to the room didn't work and when we left the room a few time and went back up to our room we had to 1st go all the way down to the front desk gave us a new one, we left the room again and same thing. The 3rd time we sat in the hall and had to wait for someone to come open the door and told us someone would have to stay in the room to let the other back in because the key which sucked. They should have comp us something for the inconvenience of that. Plus went there to go swimming most of all and couldn't even do that. Bad stay.
3.7
clean, staff pleasant and helpful
there were no restaurants open at the hotel and very limited food nearby.
3.7
Breakfast was too expensive for a family
Atleast tell us what they have to offer at the hotel if we’re paying a lot.
3.7
Stunning views and well thought out accommodations. Very classy and clean
3.7
The location and the view from my room.
There was garbage already in my room on check in and hair in the sink. The food at ptarmigan was disgusting too.
3.7
The room service was not timely. Requested cleaning the room three days in a row finally get serviced, then our personal food was thrown away when the room was cleaned.

not much
check in staff was rude.
our room was so hot we couldn’t even sleep. the A/C was blowing cold air but the unit bu the window was blowing hot air
everyone says their unable to help with the issue.
we were offered to move rooms at 11:30 at night and that was the only solution
the spa was closed, which was not noted online during booking
3.7
location
the bed was lumpy, room service was horrible and hotel was over booked

We had a spacious room that was clean. We chose your hotel because of the location to downtown Anchorage and we were able to see what we wanted by traveling on foot. I would definitely stay there again.
A shuttle from the airport and to the train station would have been helpful. We went on a cruise but flew into Anchorage a couple of days early so we could see the city.

The breakfast staff is super cheery.
No spa! Closed! No pool! No parking! Expensive stay for NO reward. Not relaxing. Not enjoyable.
