We had a fantastic time. The property was clean. The hotel staff was very friendly and on several occasions very helpful. My children had a wonderful time at the fantasy pool. We all enjoyed the lazy River and water slide. My husband and I ate at 2 of the restaurants during our stay. The restaurant staff was friendly and courteous
A big plus for us was having Publix right down the road.
If you decide to stay at Hammock Beach Resort, be sure to sign up for the complimentary photo session. The photographer took some great photos of my family on the beach.

The location was nice and convenient.
We came on a family vacation; on the first day our sons entered the slide in the heated pool and had fun, on the second day the director of the water facilities decided that our youngest son was not allowed to use the slide because he was missing a quarter of an inch (0.25"!!!) in height, which was not true (and we have a photo as proof) and it is also desirable to note that he learned to swim professionally, and we suggested to the sign on a document says that we are taking responsibility - just let him to have fun on a rainy day in his yearly vacation.
When she assisted in disagreeing, we went to the manager at the reception of the hotel, and she was Antipathetic and cold like a robot insensitive and unwilling to help.
We found ourselves on Saturday leaving the hotel, driving an hour and a half with four children to Daytona Beach so the children could enjoy their vacation.
The room had a foul smell of mold and mildew. It was impossible to sit on the balcony because the table and chairs were sticky and dirty. The couches smelled awful. In the middle of the night, I had a cockroach on the bed.
The food was not tasty, very low level and of poor quality.

Not good for small children . The lazy river and pool area very average . Difficult to navigate with a stroller - no automatic doors and some of the restaurants were tight spaces .

it has lots of amenities and activities for all ages.
the guard gate was not the easiest or pleasant to get in the property. once i made it to check in the concierge was very pleasant. Pool staff, bellmen and serving staff were all pleasant.

Location
Beach was closed without notice. Construction woke family up every morning at 8am from chipping hammers in the unit next door without notice.

Beautiful ocean front resort, nice view of the ocean, loved the pool complex.
The villas where we were booked were a bit of a walk from the rest of the amenities. We were located by the road and I didn’t like the traffic noise. The kitchen lacked a big skillet, dishwasher didn’t work well, the hall bathtub’s drain was clogged. The beach in front of the resort was not the best as there were rock outcroppings in the surf so swimming is difficult.

The room was nice. Of course we paid too rate
No service throughout the whole week without a 24 hour notice and a 3 to 5 hour room vacancy. Very inconvenient. Did not even offer a sweep or a bed make up or anything. When we requested towels, they left them on the floor inside the door. Most of the staff seem to be overwhelmed with the crowd at spring break. They were not prepared. Even management walking around the property never offered a hello how was your stay or any type of courtesy nod. They just seemed engaged in their next task.

The grounds and amenities were great
My two bedroom villa was a bit outdated I didn’t realize that it was a timeshare which is fine … just for the price I expected at least a renovated villa but still was a great trip…. Half the tv’s didn’t work and they need to update to steaming or fire sticks on all the tv’s in that particular villa

The pool, hot tub and water slide area is amazing. Plenty of parking. Wish we got a chance to enjoy it today but couldn’t due to the rainstorm this morning.
No hot water in room to shower. The toilet kept making noises. One of the registrar staff was condescending when we inquired about late check out.

Delfino’s Restaurant is outstanding.
The pool, lazy river and hot tub area were great.
The beach is gorgeous.
Small amenities that could have been complimentary given the room prices such as morning coffee and little bags of popcorn in the afternoon were all added to the charges.
The lobby and bar area were huge open spaces which didn’t feel cozy or warm or welcoming.

The check in/front desk staff were not helpful with regard to how to avoid paying the toll bridge fee and the evacuation due to the tropical storm. They did not help us secure alternate arrangements once we were evacuated and they couldn’t guarantee that once the evacuation was over that we would be able to go back and continue the rest of our prearranged stay.

Not enough restaurants on site based on the vase capacity of people at the resort. Too many people slamming doors and dogs barking and loud voices in the night in hallways. No informative (most places have on their TV network) on what is offered at the facility. No room (breakfast, lunch, dinner) service offered - the site needs at least two more restaurants to accommodate the people lodging.

We stayed in a 3 bedroom suite and it was spacious and beautiful view.
This is our second time here and both times I have arrived at 4:00pm and the rooms have never been ready on time. First time the room was delayed 45 minutes, no big deal I went to the bar and grabbed a drink. This time my room was not ready till 6:00pm 2 hours later of the expected checkin time, huge deal when traveling with little ones who are already tired from the road trip. In addition they DO NOT compensate that time at checkout, they simply apologize and told me No Late checkout availability at the moment which seem pretty unfair. The rooms also need some upkeep and maintenance both times I have found either loose screws, or something not functioning right.!
