the property charged me at checkin even though I prepaid via booking, so I paid a second time to be able to checkin. When I asked them to help resolve this, they essentially said it’s not their problem and did not want to provide me with a receipt of what at paid them. Very sketchy.

we ended up not staying here because my daughter needed Emergancy appendix surgery. I booked the room because it was the closet to the hospital. We were suppose to have surgery the next AM but her appendix ruptured and we needed Emergancy surgery and never made it to the hotel. booking.com nor the hotel manager did anything about getting my money back and handling this Emergancy situation with dignity. It took 5 days just for someone in “management” to call me back to tell me she would do nothing for me and never even apologized or said sorry about my daughter. this hotel should be ashamed of how they treat people. I was highly disappointed that they wouldn’t take care of their costumers in this Emergancy situation.
The manager of this hotel will not call you back or handle any situation. She makes her front desk people take down “notes” and never returns calls. The employees are rude as well and not helpful. I had to get my bank involved for anyone to even call me back- and now we are in the process of a civil dispute and bringing it to small claims.

Room facilities were in general great. Wi-Fi speed was like 50-60 mbps which is great for getting work done.
Room I stayed in was pretty small. Shower in bathroom had low water pressure, and bathroom could’ve been cleaner

This was a simple, clean and comfortable room in a convenient location for our trip.
The “free breakfast “ consisted of a coffee maker and a box of granola bars. I wasn’t expecting much but this was not adequate.

The man in the reception (BM) was very careful and gave a good service.
The price is too high

Great location for us. Room was very clean.
The service was bad. Got lock out of our room. Key didn't work. Had to wait over hour to get into our room. Finally they give us a new room because key didn't work. And again had to wait about 2 hours to get our stuff out of the another room. We had a child of 4 years old who needed clothing and drinks who had to do without.

It was accessible for my husband, who must use a walker. The room was spotlessly clean. The inn is close to the hospital we needed to visit. There are many restaurants in the area. Redwood City / Menlo Park is generally a beautiful area. Although the rooms are quite expensive for their modest quality, it was about the best price you can find in this super-expensive area.
Traffic noise from busy El Camino Real can be heard all night. There are very bright lights outside the door and windows on both sides of the room, and the shutters do not block the glare. We kept waking up from the traffic noise and jumping up to check the time, thinking we had overslept our hospital appointment because of the bright light streaming through the blinds and under the door. The rooms need blackout curtains. The pillows are thin and hard. Bring a white-noise machine, eye masks, and your own pillows if you can.
