Location was close to base

I booked this hotel specifically because of the indoor pool. I was extremely disappointed that Holiday inn website nor booking. Com website mentioned that pool was not available. More disturbing that it wasn't available due to compliance

Breakfast wasn’t good at all, price is high for a 2 star hotel. Room was clean but so drab. I expected More With this price point . Breakfast - no cream cheese for the bagel, no flavored creamer for the coffee, cinnamon toast sticks were hard & undercooked.

Location was fine, it was close to food.

We had no towels, no lotion, hair in the tub, floor was sticky and pool was closed

The location was perfect for my stay and the accessibility to things in the area.

Upon arrival on Friday, July 14th at 4:45 p.m., there was no staff out front and we waited for 13 minutes. When my daughter and I went to our room, the door was open, the room smelled and was hot. We left for awhile to go to dinner with family we were visiting and when we returned our key cards did not work. We went downstairs and waited in the lobby for someone for over 15 minutes. There was a gentleman waiting to check in and he had been there longer. He had rung the bell as did we…no one was there. I walked around and found the young lady eating in the eating areA just feet away from The desk. She was sitting in the dark and was able to hear folks in the lobby. Once she walked over, clearly in front of the 6 people waiting, she said she was helping someone. She “fixed” our key card and we went back to the room. It didn’t work, and then again it did not work. Also, every time we had to go back she was no where to be found and we had to wait. The process took 45 minutes after we had waited over 15 in the beginning. We were finally able to get into our room after midnight. When I pulled the sheets back there was long hair all over my sheets. I slept on top of the flat sheet that night. The next morning we realized that we had one towel, one wash cloth. I will say that I always stay at Holiday Inn Express because they are always consistent with being clean and the staff is always pleasant. I travel monthly and stay in hotels all over the country. This is the worst I’ve seen.

lights in room weren’t working. very dark. fixtures grimy to touch. no remote for TV. and shower so slippery if I didn’t have a hold on safety bar I would have had a terrible fall
