Breakfast was nice. Made it to breakfast, before closing, and the server was great, smiling, and helpful and did not have an attitude.
The bed was not comfortable change the mattress.

It was a little difficult at first figuring out where to park

good location and close to downtown.
the lady at front desk was eating chips/snacks at the same time she was talking to me also they didn't have room to park our car on the hotel parking lot, so we had to park on the street and have to take our car before 8 am to avoid fine or be towed

There was no hot water throughout my entire stay. The manager was not available for the entire time. The front desk staff tried their best to be accomodating however only so much they could of done. In addition, furniture in room 206 looks run down
The room itself looked run down. AC vents needs cleaning asap, there was no hot water. Travelling with a child this was not good.

Location was perfect for why I was there.

The staff was very nice. They helped me solve problems in a courteous manner. I was attending several nights of events at The Robinson Center. This hotel is about a half mile from the event center, and I thought it would be an easy walk for this 72 yr old woman
First night I averted an attempted robbery while walking back to hotel. I found out The Doubletree attached to the event center will shuttle you to other hotels. Broken hairdryer, broken coffee pot. Toilet bottom was repaired, but nearly fell over. Use a shuttle or Uber... don't walk around at night. One night when returning to hotel a robbery was on progress. They ran right by me as I entered. I felt safe in my room and hallways though.

Close to river area
Couple of lights didn't work. Had to ask for soap.

Not much
I have stayed in lots of Hampton Inn for work and most are good to the expectation. This is the first worst. NO SOAP - can't believe this, but true. Staff says they ran out. If told earlier I could have got my own before I checked in. Reception staff shows no enthusiasm at all.
Stale breakfast. Place dirty with litter. Looks definitely understaffed. Ran out of boiled eggs, Drinks dispensing machine broken - no water, no juice. Muffins were being placed cold from the box. But the deal breaker would have been NO SOAP. In fact they should return my money for this - false advertising. How can one keep a hotel open without soap and this is part of HILTON.

The hotel needs upgrading. Our room had stains in the carpet. Everything appeared worn and dated.
8.0 / 10.0
The room was very nice and so was the bathroom. I loved that they give free toiletries if you forgot something. Bed and bathroom was clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful for the issues I did have. The breakfast was really good and had a nice selection. Check in and out was easy and quick.
I didn't like that I would have to pay $10 a day to park in their garage after paying for a room. You can park for free on the street during the weekend and evening and then pay a cheap amount through an app for 1 hr parking. But if you paid through the app and your time expires in less than 5 minutes, expect a parking ticket. I paid for 1 hour though the app from 8:05am-9:05am and then when i arrived to my car at 9:02 I had a parking ticket. (Not the hotels issue but still frustrating. I live out of state so i had to find the parking enforcement office before we could leave) The carpet had stains on it so I definitely didn't feel comfortable walking bare foot on it. We were right by the elevator and it would make this awful screeching noise that was very loud and uncomfortable. My key wouldn't work for the elevator so I had to get a replacement and it still wouldn't work half the time, then only one of my door keys would work. I would of loved to see a non-dairy creamer for the coffee area, as I don't get along with any dairy.

The breakfast was superb. It helped because it had a gym and one could go and exercise. I liked the fact that it was also not far from the work place and the airport. The staff were also very helpful when needed.
The fact that the rooms were not cleaned if we didn't ask them to clean them. I also believe I was charged more than what I had booked for.

The location.
The carpet was nasty. Stains all over the carpet. Barely had enough towels and toilet paper. I would not stay there again because the carpet was nasty.
