nice pools and great staff
food was average. no easy access to a beach. housekeeping levels varied thru our stay.
7.0 / 10.0
clean, good location. Rooms are good, well furnished.
They seem to have a petty theft problem and I don’t think it’s the guests doing it. we had several things missing from our lanai and poolside that never turned up in lost and found.

Very comfortable, clean room & beautiful property
Limited food/dining options

Swimming pools were spacious and clean
This property doesn’t represent good value for money. It’s a timeshare at luxury hotel prices. No room service, no shuttle bus (very hard if you don’t have a car), very early checkout (10am), our rooms were not cleaned daily.

The kitchen and washing machine is useful for a more remote stay. Although a very long way to travel for any boat cruises. I don’t recommend if doing more than two cruises given the distance to travel for Port Allen.
The hotel charged me twice which was over $5k each time. They had told me they confirmed in their system it was all pre-paid and it was a holding deposit. This was later rectified but after I incurred significant international call costs and they told me I hadn’t pre-paid. There was no proper apology or compensation, this was incredibly stressful and I would recommend all guests double checking with the hotel before paying anything. I will never recommend this place to anyone and also all pools being only 3ft deep is a joke.

Stunning views. Clean. Staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful!
Everyone was wonderful

Air conditioner was aimed directly at the bed with no way to reduce air flow. Very bad

Kauai is fabulous and the rooms are comfortable
The location is awful, far from both restaurants, beaches and things to do. The local restaurant is mediocre and there's no real breakfast offering. The place stinks unless you're dedicated to do most of the cooking yourself or love having to drive every time you want to eat or have any kind of activity

charming hotel. it’s big but doesn’t feel like a big resort. we enjoyed our stay and would happily stay there again.

It could be very nice if they had renewd the air conditioning system which was making an awful sound all the time and especially throughout the night. Unfortunately we couldn’t ask for help from the staff who didn’t respond. It took them several days to understand we were two people in the room and didn’t need the sofa bed….

9.0 / 10.0
Atmosphere, ocean views, service, pools and hot tubs, activities, food, market offerings, friendliness of staff
Lack of attention to replacing in-room amenities, such as shampoo and body wash
8.0 / 10.0
I liked the location but would have preferred some path created to go to beach. There was a path from outside the hotel but something more fun and concrete would help hotel more.
Property should have better breakfast restaurant other than the princeville market which gets queued up in the morning. Infact a couple more options for food should be there.

stunning property - lovely location- incredible staff.
no free coffee, the food wasn’t great and the store was really expensive. it was kind of crazy. made the resort seem petty and cheap only wanting to make money.
7.0 / 10.0
nice to have washer dryer, staff was friendly
not very environmental. way over lit hallways and units. cleaning
staff turned all the lights on and left them on. first floor unit porch full of annoying birds and poo. charge for parking. pool bar not open. charge for limited activities. restaurant overcooks fish. a nice ocean viewing pavilion with Sade would be nice.
