Location was perfect! Walking distant to downtown. Breakfast not included at this time.
The bed was very firm for us. Something a little softer would have been better but this is just my preference.

Hotel histórico muy pintoresco. Es el hotel más antiguo de Chula vista. Café gratis para el desayuno.
Siendo un hotel histórico, tiene cosas que no son tan cómodas como un baño pequeño.

Friendly staff, readily available
The room is a little old, we suggest to renovate the furniture and bed

A very nice hotel, the owner was really kind and provided an excellent service, she took the time to explain everything about our rooms and the facilities, she told us a little bit about the hotel and answered all the questions we had about our trip for the next day. Excellent service. The water from the shower had really good pressure and the beds and pillows were amazing.
The rooms were a little bit nosy, you could here the other guests entering their rooms and TVs

I truly appreciate the hospitality I received when I checked into the hotel. I enjoyed learning some of the history of the hotel and how it was renovated.
Everything was perfect and I loved the room and location.

room set up was a little awkward for the tv but not a big deal.

Clean and well kept.
High cost, no breakfast.

The hotel is a nice historic building, but it needs some care. The are no extractor fans in the bathroom and the surrounding area is run-down in parts of San Diego. The owner is a very nice person managing everything.
The rooms smell of mildew and the carpets are not clean, no extractor fans in the bathrooms

Location is good
The property is far from being a Boutique Hotel, poor design a bad taste, tiny rooms. Of course the rate is good but other reviews were misleading. Additionally they still advertise to offer complementary breakfast with the excuse of Covid they do not.

friendly staff, convenient water and ice machine, appreciated the tea/hot cocoa in the morning
spotty Wi-Fi, bathroom was very small, bathrooms linen had small stains

nicer charm
beds and bathroom were fine but the room needed a deep clean. Dusty and neglected corners, etc.

The staff was super friendly and made me feel welcome and at home! I would highly recommend this place for anyone who is traveling. The cleanliness was amazing and even the towels smelled great! I will be staying here again!
I don't have any complaints. There was no refrigerator but it was not a big deal.

The room felt like home.
Bit of a pain to check in late, we got there at 1am luckily they answered the door bell. But they did get use in and right to the room.

it’s a beautiful historic building with lots of character. the owners were so friendly and welcoming. I felt right at home, and perfectly safe in this neighborhood and hotel as a woman traveling alone.

the location is good and the staff is friendly
i don’t this this hotel has been redone since it was first built. everything is old and unloved. the cleanliness could be improved. the toilet looked like it hasn’t been cleaned when we got there. the towels are old and the bathroom is not inviting at all. luckily we were there for only one night. I would not recommend and i will never be back

Very charming and historic place!
Actually, I thought we did not have access to a microwave oven, but later discovered that there was a full kitchen on the property!

Great historical hotel. Room was very clean and comfortable. Hotel is also conveniently located right by the 3rd Ave downtown area which has plenty of great restaurants, shops and breweries.
