Front desk clerk was incredibly friendly and helpful. Greeted immediately upon entering, had me checked in quickly, and offered me options for room location.
Paying $5 per night to park in a traditional hotel lott on property. Stayed here previously and no such a la carte charge. Also stayed here because suites advertise having a kitchen (last stay that included full size fridge, full stove and dishwasher). This stay no stove but rather two ceramic top burner— and no oven. That was disappointing given my plans (and need) to cook for an event this stay.

Clean. Quiet. Good breakfast.
Booked through third party website for a discounted rate of 150.00 On morning of reservation I received a text that there would also be a additional security deposit required which added 250.00 to the room rate. Spoke with manager and he reduced this security deposit to 150.00. Still had to pay double the cost upfront, with the verbal assurance that the extra 150.00 would be refunded if there was no damage to the room. We are an adult couple traveling with our teenage son, not Def Leppard. I am mentioning this so other travelers do not get surprised by this excessive security deposit requirement.

Unfortunately, the only thing that was good during the stay was how polite and friendly staff was.
The Sonesta was one of our favorite properties, but this stay was the worst. From the moment we checked in, there were problems. I booked a two bedroom queen suite with two double beds in the other room and at check in I was told that wasn’t the correct room, even though that’s what I paid for, so I was given a much smaller room and told to contact Booking if I wanted the room I booked and that it would be a lot more money for me to get the room I originally booked. In my opinion, it was terrible customer service to deny a paying guest a room they booked, simply because it was not listed correctly through a third party booking site, that is not the fault of the customer. Secondly, after we checked in and were bringing our bags inside our room and putting things away, we noticed that we did not have plates or glassware in our room. I had to call the front desk, who told me I had to walk down to the main lobby to pick up the dishware. Once I arrived to get the items, the lady at the front desk (who was very friendly) told me that she received a noise complaint from our next door neighbors. It was absolutely ridiculous given that we had just got there. It felt like we were purposely targeted, which had me and my children on edge the entire vacation. To make matters worse, our hotel room was FILLED with bugs and spiders. We had dead bugs in our bedrooms, which housekeeping just left and we spent our entire 4 day stay killing bugs and spiders. It was disgusting!!! The only reason I did not ask to be relocated because it was my daughter’s birthday and we had brought and unpacked a lot of stuff. We did not want to have to go through the headache of packing and then unpacking again. On top of all of that, we had to call the front desk to come clean bugs out of our dish washer. I am very disappointed in the Sonesta. Typically our stay here is wonderful. I am not sure if my family and I will be returning. The property is not being cleaned properly.

Good location. Nice staff. Big 2-bedroom suite, huge space with cooking utensils. Price is good with this size and facilities. Check in and check out process was quick and easy. The gym room is nice too.
Only stairs, no elevator, need to take luggage up and down. The breakfast closed at 9am during the weekend, earlier than average hotels. The shower water was not hot enough, could not take a bath.
