Great hotel infrastructure and location

The convenient breakfast, great downtown SD location, and room with a complete kitchen with all the basic utensils are all reasons to stay here. There are many restaurants, bars, pharmacies, supermarkets, and public transportation nearby.

Great location, great staff, but rooms are disappointing.

The STAFF!! They were amazing. Friendly, helpful, and so welcoming. The young lady at the front desk, I should have gotten her name, was one of the nicest front desk clerks I have ever encountered. We were early, and it wasn’t an issue at all.

The only reason I am giving a lower score was the rooms desperately need an update. For the $$$$, I would have expected something a little less old and tired.

Only satisfactory

Room was comfortable. Arrived for breakfast as it was being closed. Server not very helpful. Went across the street to eat.

No maid service. Had to call for towels etc. Not all of my check in luggage was returned, took front desk staff quite some time to locate missing item. $60 a day to park...come on!

centrally located in the the gas lamp dist. nice breakfast ,well stocked, great room with a kitchenette . clean , good location, friendly staff.

The location & staff were nice. The room was below par.

The sofa bed was horrible - we had to ask for bedding - the mattress was lumpy with springs (not acceptable as another sleeping area). The bedroom (suite?) storage was minimal (small closet, drawers were tiny) Bathroom storage was shelves, no drawers. The TV remote needed batteries and there was worn-missing carpet spot near the kitchen area. The bar closed at 10pm when the sign said closes at 11pm. The valet parking was $60 when the booking stated it was $58.

Room big enough. Didn't get room cleaned during stay. Room is big enough but sink was very close to bed not situated well.

Room , Bartender , Breakfast, all EXCELLENT, tall African American Valet chose to be rude an gave a hateful attitude when I was picked up in front , it took less than a minute but he chose to give us a Angry an insulting vibe , TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE SUNDAY MORNING AT 11:15 AM THIS ACCURED HE RUINED THE EXPERIENCE THAT WAS MOSTLY GOOD , TERRIBLE ATTITUDE FOR A HOSPIYALITY JOB

good weekend get away

the location was great. the kitchenette was perfect. very clean. staff was very professional and friendly

the tv was extremely small, couldn’t even see the tv from the bed and the couch was not position to watch the tv. we had to buy pillows the pillows gave us headaches. bed could have been more comfortable the mattress cover and fitted sheet kept coming off while sleeping. oddly the mattress was bigger that the box spring.
