Very well maintained
It was lovely

Location was the best part. 8 minutes from the Fairgrounds. That's the only upside.
My first room had dead bugs in it, so painfully outdated that there was rust. This room was missing wall paparr and carpet. Not worth Motel 6 prices. So we went to the desk and they switched us to a different building due to the roaches.
The second room didn't have any bugs but the wallpaper was peeling off due to prior water damage and you could smell it plus no functioning fireplace. Still not a renovated room either. Again, not worth over $60.
Again, the room needed to be changed. They put us upstairs in the same building. Things work in this room but nothing was new. Not even close to new. Missing light bulbs. We got so tired of complaining. It's a bit of a walk to go to the desk and deal with it.
If you book this hotel just know that the Motel 6 will have better rooms and you'll know to expect wallpaper malfunctions, bad carpet, horrible beds, missing lights, broken fireplace, unrenovated rooms.
The front desk knew these rooms were like this. They should have offered a discount after all of this.

I liked the view
It has to be remodeled, it smelled so bad like mold. The carpets looked like they haven't been changed over 20 years +

Beautiful grounds. Near Del Mar and Solana Beach.
Old property. Carpeting all stained and dirty from yrs of use.needed to change room a second time due to bugs. No air conditioning for two nights.

Golf and tennis, and puckleball courts.
Outdated rooms. Our door to room was hard to open.

The location was lovely. The Reception, club house and pool/spa areas have been kept well. The accommodation however, has not.
House keeping keep it spotlessly clean inside rooms. Very friendly staff. We enjoyed the close proximity to the club house for dinner and drinks each afternoon.
The accommodation is in desperate need of refurbishment both inside and out for the price you pay. It could be made to be stunning, especially with the amenities and golf course surrounding. The outside of the building was dirty and covered in cobwebs. The wood on the balconies looked like it had rotted. The balconies were uninviting.
The beds are old and not the most comfortable. Not the worst though.
We noticed that new ownership recently took over. Hopefully the accommodation will get the much needed facelift and brought back to its former glory.

main lodge was beautiful, location was superb, right next to the soccer tournament, and 10-15 min from Del Mar
loud neighbors, poor sound insulation. door didn’t open easily with key. no early morning coffee/breakfast. hotel rooms need updating.

The location is very convenient for our trip.
The room was clean but worn out a bit. Peeling ceiling areas. Worn painted trim and carpet stains.

Nice resort
There is no elevator and had to go to wedding and walk up and down with heels. Tried to call and schedule appointment at salon and they said they would call me back but never did. Rooms outdated and balcony was dirty

Beautiful views onto the golf course. reasonable prices for the area. very friendly staff. it's a club so relaxed and friendly and inclusive. The bar is a comfortable place to spend time even for a woman traveling alone. You can play golf, play tennis and there is a great gym, swimming pool and spa.
The restaurant is nice.
morgan Run is very close to the little village of Rancho Santa Fe, with some of the best restaurants. Mille Fleur being one of them. in the other direction there is a Whole Foods, Gelsons and less expensive restaurants and the main artery that takes you down to La Jolla, San Diego and Tijuana. Or North to Los Angeles, Santa Barbara, Monterey and San Francisco.
The weather is warm but not humid. supposedly the best climate in the world!
The beaches are v close by. The Del Mar race track is just down the road.
Morgan Run is spread out. lots of room. large rooms. Plenty of free parking.
