I really appreciated how responsive the staff were within the hotel and the restaurant. When we reported an odd interaction with a patron of the restaurant, the staff took it seriously and said they would watch out for it. The food in the hotel's restaurant was phenomenal and we will be back just for that, if nothing else.
Cleanliness was generally good but small details like the body soap being empty in the bathroom and the ground being dusty were things that I noticed.

All soured by the failure of neither the hotel nor yourselves to take responsibility for the failure of the taxi to collect ourselves from the airport.
As above

The facilities are super clean, high end finishes, lovely and helpful staff.
The neighborhood is lively, but the windows are single paned, so that late night free screening of a movie on the street at the nearby cafe felt like it was in our 6th floor room. Also, for the price, the bed could be better - they’re a little soft.

the decor, the fact that it is a historic building. Enjoyed the restaurant as well.
The breakfast. For starters coffee was terrible and the fact that on weekends there was nothing available until brunch at 10:30 not acceptable. If you have something available it should be quality!! or not to have it at all!!

The location is excellent with an amazing selection of restaurant facilities nearby and safe to walk around. It has a certain likeable old world style about it. Bathrooms are reasonable for an older property
It was clearly subjected to a very good refurbishment but also clearly that was quite some time ago. Its central location comes with a fair bit of noise. The rooms are small by modern standards and the beds on the small side. You pay for the location and charm but as an overall package it is expensive for the age and facilities

Blowers started up outside my window at 6:30am. They continued until 10am. The bed was lumpy. The hotel is tired and needs paint. Overall lackluster experience.

Hotel is charming and the restaurant and bar are so fun! The location is great!
The shower water never got hot. The temperature was luke warm. We didn't complain because we were only there one night, but it was not fun.

To plug in my computer, I had to get down on my hands and knees. Power outlets at table height would be great!

Beautiful clean room. Well-appointed (loved the crystal chandelier). Comfy bed with high quality bedding. Love the retro 30s vibe. Nice restaurant offers free coffee in the am. Right in the heart of Culver City’s food and entertainment scene.
Pricey.
Parking is a block away.

The bed
The gym
The location
The level of customer service was underwhelming. I expect more from a property like this one.... the phone was answered less than half the time, and even simple requests like replacing the bottles of wine originally provided were unsurmountable.

Excellent value for money
Very good location
Kind and attentive staff
Some furniture looks a bit outdated
It can be quite cold and a/c doesn’t heat quickly

Location was great, decor was also cool. Room itself was good in size and bed was comfy
A/C was making massive noise and then it broke totally. Got a new room, but there the A/C was making same noise. Prepare for earplugs which is not something you'd expect with this pricelevel.
No breakfast available of any kind either

fab location . great history.
not a lot.

there is no breakfast there is still no restaurant which used to be amazing. the location is the primary reason to book the hotel if they are not offering full services. paying an ameneties charge when there are no amenities is annoying and a deterrent to staying there. we love this hotel. without full services is a huge drawback culver city restaurants are allaround the hotel which helps. and the decor and history are always a plus
see above. no restaurant even outdoors. used to be so wonderful there with the live music etc. being charged for amenities that are not provided is a huge problem

great decorations and a beautiful building. quite a good location too with good restaurants nearby and easy to get an Uber to other places like Santa Monica or Beverly Hills
the bar/ restaurant wasn’t open which would have been great

Upgraded from Standard King to Deluxe King for 2nd day of stay - definitely worth it. Our arrival was way before standard check-in time so planned to just leave luggage but room was unexpectedly ready at 11am. Also when we upgraded room next morning we were able to switch about 11am. Very accommodating service! Really loved the velvety seating area in deluxe room.
1. Disappointed the bar and restaurant are currently on pause. 2. Had an issue trying to get car out of off-site parking structure early morning. It is a municipal lot that’s supposed to be closed 2am-5am only but was still closed at 5:45am.

Great location and fun boutique hotel.
I would have liked a bar or light meals available on site

Water took 5 minutes to warm up and the AC was just a fan.

Parking needs to be worked out. Only complaint makes wanting to stay here difficult for the future. Need a valet service if parking is not near.
Need valet service.

Oh my god, our room was WONDERFUL.
I would prefer to have had the bar open and food for breakfast available. We plan to return and really hope to be able to get a drink at the bar.
The parking situation is a bit inconvenient, but I understand you don't actually have hotel parking.
