Comfortable to have a villa with kitchen and laundry. My stay was a 7.5 out of 10

Beautiful location and clean

Long lines at check in. They did not have my room ready at 4 pm or earlier. I had to wait in line to check in for 30 minutes. Then I had to wait 2 hours after check in to get my room ready. There were about a hundred people in the lobby waiting to get their room as well. They were very unorganized with check in. The room is supposed to be from 4 pm to 10 am check out. That is not even 24 hour stay and they charge you a full day. It is not worth to stay for one night. You need at least 3. They should give you longer and have the room ready earlier.

Overall I liked the place very much.

Very good location, large and beautiful villas, Free parking garage, courteous staff.

Check out time is at 10:00 AM which is too early. 12 O'clock will be much better.

We stayed in 1612. On checking in we were not told how to access our room on the lower level as the stairs would have been difficult for us. We eventually found found a person that told us it was in the next building.

Noise, noise and more noise- I have never paid so much to stay beside a busy road!!

The internal layout of the villa was roomy. The swimming pool was good.

Noise from the external road. Noise from the service yard that our balcony looked onto where the noise started at 7am. Noise from other guests ( not that the guests were being very noisy, just poor build quality meant you could hear footsteps, running water etc). Do not accept a room in building 3400 if you want a quiet rest!!

An enjoyable stay.

The facilities and entertainment for youngsters were very good.

Dining facilities for guests could improved and also the repayment of ‘pending charges’ should be instant when the account is settled!

I highly recommend staying at the Marriott villas ! The two bedroom two bathroom suite was the perfect place to stay for

It had everything you could possibly want and more! It was clean, spacious, lots of activities and food choices, transportation to the beach and access to pool and everything. It was such a wonderful and relaxing stay.

Love this location. Perfect for a family. Will be back!

Marriott vacation property. Check-in process included a sales pitch. Would’ve liked to just check-in. That being said, the sales rep moved quickly and was very accommodating.

Wonderful family get away with the grandkids

Our grandkids loved the pools. Our 4 year-old especially loved the slides at the kiddie pool. We spent hours there and came back with fabulous tans.😃

Didn’t like that it’s a cashless property. Cashless businesses are bad for the economy.

Beautiful location and resort!

unfortunately had some major glitches during our stay; pool was closed for the first two days of a 7 day stay and internet went out for 3 days, We were in a villa where cellular was unavailable, so we had no contact unless we went looking for better cellular. Marriott kept us up to date via text, but still… Would appreciate better food options.

The villas have a premium ocean view location in Newport Beach with good amenities.

Excellent location. Spacious, well appointed villas with well equipped kitchens and outdoor BBQ’s nearby. Several seating areas with ocean views spread throughout the property. Good guest parking. Easy tennis and pickleball bookings. Excellent spa. On-site Starbucks. Good poolside food and beverage.

The front desk staff person who checked us in was very rude. She made reference to the timeshare owners’ priority for rooms with views several times during the check-in process. Basically said we weren’t eligible. We have stayed at other Marriott timeshare villas as non-owners and had all of our requests honoured. It was very disappointing.

Great accommodations. Great beautiful grounds. Amazing pools. 2 bedroom rooms are so comfortable for a family. Perfect location.

We have been at the place before and my son loved water slides so much. We purposely came to this hotel for those water slides this time. But we couldn’t arrive early. We got around 6.45- 7 pm and were told that water slides were already closed. The previous time they were open till 8 or 9 pm, and we were here exactly a year ago. Pity they turn them off so early. My son managed to have the last one ride and they turned them off. There were tons of disappointed kids after that…

Fabulous condos and location

These are lovely condos with incredible views of the ocean. The dedicated Marriott employees do a wonderful job of keeping the property in beautiful condition. The rooms are spacious and clean. One of the best places to stay in Newport Beach.
