Your location is wonderful. Close proximity of Lihue. The overall property impression was great! The room was a bit tired and outdated. The murphy bed did not meet my expectations. Storing the cushions and Putting it up and down by ourselves each night was a pain. I'm sure without Covid restrictions, the housekeepers would of done this -- really left me with a bad experience on that side. room size was good. view was amazing!
Murphy bed was a pain to take up and down and store cushions by ourselves. No cleaning due to Covid! Asked for towels and they took way longer than we were told (told 20 minutes and waiting an hour) so we just left and they were left on the floor outside the door. I think they should call you and ask what you need. A vacuum would have been nice.

The property was stunning well manicured and clean
The laundry facilities were not in line with the rest of the property- small and not enough machines

Our room was in the most beach-front wing of the Marriott, which we really appreciated. It was great to sit out on the balcony and listen to the waves. We also appreciated the kitchenette. We stayed at the Marriott a few times in the early 2000's, and the room was nicely updated.

We love the beach, accessibility to the rest of the island and the incredible gardens. I was so impressed as we watched daily the diligence and thoroughness of the staff to clean the grills- amazing!
The check in process was rough. I also previously loved the ability to buy a mug and have self service drink and coffee stations. And although I absolutely live the gardens, it seemed that they were not as pristine as previous. I am also very confused as to why The vacation club is over promoted as a legacy gift and yet it is quite difficult to utilize it in conjunction with your family. The lack of shuttle to the villas was a challenge.

The pool
The sea view room we got shouldn’t be considered sea view. We barely saw the ocean over the roof of the next building. It wasn’t worth the extra cost.

Pool, ocean view, garden
The room is really small, the beach in front of the room is not beautiful like Poipu beach, the restaurant are really expensive.

Great location. Beach was decent. Pool was amazing! Very laid back, not a typical “party” location but great for relaxing!
The parking. While nice to have was a bit disappointed to pay extra when other properties just as nice didnt.

Great pool, grounds and great rooms but the price is getting too high, even for this great facility. We paid the same for a studio (essentially a hotel room) as we previously paid for a 2 bedroom condo.
The restaurant service at the pool is terrible. They need more wait staff. There was only one person and during a 5 hour stay at the pool we never could get her to stop by our location (main area near main pool) even though I waved at her several times. The on line system works ok but then you have to go to the restaurant to get your food and drinks.

Beautiful hotel, great location. Great place to go for a long walk with great views of the ocean.
Queen study with view was a murphy bed in the wall in a tiny room, do NOT recommend it. I asked to be switched to a room with a regular bed and that made the stay much better. Because of Covid, there were limited food options and no access to the beach.

Very nice staff, cozy room, huge pool, we liked Duke's restaurant at the beach, beautiful landscape and decorations.
