Check-in was great. Breakfast was good. The chef/manager was incredible. He made sure everyone had what they needed.
The thermostat could not be regulated. It kept rising. It was 79 degrees by the morning. Another guest had the same problem.

Great breakfast, nice room, and very friendly and accommodating staff.

Nice room nice staff
Upon arrival in the room I found two beer cans by the couch and some orange residue on the duvet

Very clean and the room was big
Where the tv is not easily seen from the other side of the queen size beds. The pool was little and when we got there it was full of young kids without supervision!

The staff was friendly, even the new girl at the front desk who I could tell was getting a little overwhelmed but I hope she sticks with it and the bosses don't go too hard on her. We've all been there before and you have an opportunity to shape her future not just with your company but with all future employments by seeing an example of how a manager should be.
Beyond that I really appreciated the cook checking in on all of us guests during breakfast. I wasn't expecting five Star service but he made me feel like he cared about each of us and that he wanted to make sure we were all taken care of.
While it didn't keep me up, the AC was making a constant buzzing noise all night. It would stop for very brief periods but would kick right back on. Also the TV guide didn't list the channels or what was on each so it was a guessing game as to what to watch.
The coffee wasn't great either, to be honest. The creamer wasn't labeled super well to be identifiable quickly and figuring out how to pour it was a bit of a hassle. The coffee itself also wasn't all that hot, I poured my cup after finishing my breakfast and while I wouldn't call it cold, it was definitely not what I was expecting. Some of the options for breakfast I would've liked to have been labeled better, I'll admit I'm not super well versed in all food lingo so I had no idea what the strawberry jelly stuff was or the spicy sauce in the fridge was. Luckily I took a taste test with a fork and spoon but still, a parentheses with basic description would probably go a long way.
I understand this section is longer than what I liked, so please understand I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and the pros far outweigh the cons.

The staff was fantastic. Marcus at the desk went above and beyond to make your stay exceptional
Loud party in the meeting room, but the front desk lady shut that down. The new ac system was a little difficult to figure out, but the front desk lady was very helpful and gave us instructions

The southern girl at the front desk was extra friendly. She needs a raise. The room we ended up getting was clean and spacious. No complaints about the room. I would stay again if the pool was open.
We arrived at check-in, and our room was not ready. I ordered a king suite, and so they ended up giving us two queens suite after about 4-5 hours of waiting. Something about a tournament the day before and lack of staff.
The pool was closed. So that was another disappointment.

Will be a nice hotel once the renovations are complete
Price exceptionally high for a building, going under renovations

the breakfast was very basic, without many options from day to day.

proximity to National Air Force museum was an advantage. Excellent room, with lots of space, a couch, and closet space.
I mistook the sausage dish for oatmeal. It was liquid, with small chunks of sausage in it. Only after serving myself a large portion did I realize there was a separate container with oatmeal in it. Better to serve tubular sausages than this liquidy form

The breakfast was very good and well presented. Very convenient location
Requested milk for tea and was denied, even though there were ample pints of milk in the fridge

Breakfast was better than at most hotels
Good location, close to stores and restaurants. Also the I-75.
The two Queen bed room is large, with another area with a desk, couch, fridge.
Bathroom was very nice.
