Reception areas is light and bright and well kept.
Very poor quality of the room. Ripped blinds, damaged telephone, holes in sheets, one sheet over a thick plastic cover on the mattress, dirty desk, scuffed and tatty furniture, broken toilet.

General peacefulness of the place making it easy to relax and enjoy doing nothing, having both indoor and outdoor pools, nice bright room with no obstructions so can just watch the sky and clouds from the bed or couch, great staff, free shuttle service available to take you to the train station or if you wish to visit the mall, etc.
Pool area closing too early, over an hour before sunset - it would have been nice to be able to at least enjoy the sitting area by the outdoor pool after it closes, even if not allowed to swim.

The lobby and the person at the front desk
Everything else! A pool where you couldn’t sit, housekeeping that didn’t keep house. We paid $250 per night for a bed. It was never cleaned, we had to find towels off of unmanned cleaning carts. We had to take out our own trash. Air b&b may have been better. And the overpriced food!

I like the location, right off the turnpike, far enough from New York to be not so expensive
The facility was old but well maintained.
There was no breakfast, and if it was available the staff did not tell us.
The cleaning staff forgot to refill the coffee, we had to call front dest which they promptly provided.

I love the modern chic look. Very luxury & upscale. I didn’t feel like I was in NJ. It felt like a resort.
We called the front desk numerous of times and no one ever picked up the phone during our 2 night stay. Even on our way to check in we had a few questions, no one picked up the phone. The fire alarms went off @ 2am we called down to make sure things were ok, no answer. Walked downstairs to a packed lobby and not one person could help us.

The staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating.
The pool hours don’t accommodate families traveling for sport tournaments. Pool hours should start at 8am and close at 8pm on a weekday and 9pm on a weekend.

My stay at this hotel was terrible; I felt like they were trying to rob me because they pretended not to have the $200 deposit I paid in brand new bills, and then, after an hour and a half of agony, they brought me a bag of one-dollar bills. It's horrifying and disgraceful
They told me that my pritned reservation from booking is my problem and that booking is making the price, so I had to pay 150dolars more,..but they gave me a chance not to pay whole 500dolars deposit as a sign og good will, but 200. They realized mistake they made in a while but it was so rude!
If hotel wasnt so far, I would have gone to the other for sure!! It is located in the middle of nowhere!
We had to run over the highway to go to the bakery!
They charge a deposit but they don't keep it at the hotel as a guarantee?!They clearly do not prioritize customer service.
They caused me harm by making me miss my train! In my room there were door that led to another room so noices, laud music and smell of drugs entered my room.. It was the worst experience ever!!!

The staff refused to accept our Booking reservations, charged us extra, while claiming that they have nothing to do with prices listed on Booking.com.
When we were checking out they made us late for our train because they couldn't return our deposits (claiming that neither banks nor their managers work on the wekend). We waited for two hours to get our money back and they returned my 500 $ cssh deposit (that they insisted on) in one dollar bills. Actually they gave me back 470 dollars and therest only after I counted the money in front of them.
All of this while being rude and unprofessional.

I have never had such an unpleasant experience in a hotel before. This is the worst experience of my life. They took a $500 cash deposit from me, and when I checked out, they didn't have the cash to refund me! The hotel that took the deposit didn't have the money to give me back upon checkout because it was with some manager who comes in the afternoon! Since I was in a rush to catch the 9:10 AM train to New York and later a flight to Europe, I ended up being late because of them! I paid $60 for the train ticket, and it went to waste because they didn't have the money. In the end, after a lot of arguing and unprofessional behavior from the hotel staff, they somehow returned the money but in $1 and $5 bills! The front desk staff couldn't even count the money correctly; they counted $25 less and gave me torn bills. I can't even exchange those bills in my country. That's not the only issue with them; since I booked the hotel through Booking.com, they supposedly couldn't find the reservation, even though I had both an electronic and paper confirmation of my booking. And then they charged my travel companions some kind of 150% tax! Eventually, after a lot of arguing, they admitted their mistake. I really recommend avoiding this hotel to all my friends.
The staff and management were awful. These are the kind of situations that make me consider not using Booking.com anymore. My stay at this hotel was terrible; I felt like they were trying to rob me because they pretended not to have the $500 deposit I paid in brand new bills, and then, after an hour and a half of agony, they brought us a bag of one-dollar bills. It's horrifying and disgraceful. Why do they even charge a deposit if they don't keep it at the hotel as a guarantee? They clearly do not prioritize customer service. They caused me harm by making me miss my train, and I am considering suing them for the distress I endured.

The staff was extremely incompetent and unpleasant, made us wait more than an hour to give us back our damage deposit, due to which we missed our train and lost our money as a result. The hotel shuttle driver was the only helpful person we dealt with, so kudos to him!

Don't stay here guys, it is really not worth the money. People working on the front desk, including the manager are very, very unprofessional, cost us 1h and missed train due to their incompetance to return 500 cash deposit ( yes, that is manadatory). In addition, the hotel is in bad area and facilities are not good. I would def recomend you to keep looking as you dont want to stay here.

The staff are extremely unprofessional and unpleasant. First they were try to charge me higher price than it was listed on booking, just because their employee is not able to calculate the tax properly. And then I have waited on the reception during the checkout for about 1,5 hour for my deposit and missed my train. Please avoid this hotel if you can
