The front desk person was not unkind, but since there was no manager, she was very limited on what she could do. She did offer Bonvoy points but who wants to hear that when you are exhausted and have to leave and check into another hotel?
When I arrived at my king suite at approximately 7:40 in the evening, the AC unit was running extremely loudly. Too loud to get the rest that I had planned to get after traveling from NC. I called down to the front desk and they sent a man up to look at the unit. He came and looked and then said he would be back. He return over an hour and half later and stated that the maintenance person wouldn’t be back until the morning. I told him that we could not sleep with the loud noise. Also I had my mother and teenage son with me. My mother and I were to share a bed and my son on the pull-out sofa. The mattress on the pullout side was so lumpy and ragged. It was torn and had stuffing coming out of it. When I again went to complain and show pics, I was told that there was nothing that could be done but to refund us and we go somewhere else or to stay and get $50 off the room. Mind you, by this time it was 10pm. I called the 1-800 number to complain and the person over the phone was no help at all. She basically said the same thing and when I asked her name, she hung up on me. So at 10:45pm, we had to pack up and go to a courtyard Marriott. I have always been impressed with Marriot, however, I will NEVER stay at a Residence Inn again. The room was not up to standard and there was no manger on staff. No maintenance person. It was a complete mess! This location needs to do better!

I like the location of the hotel. I enjoyed the two room suite with the pull out sofa. My family had a great time and were comfortable. The full kitchen provided an ability for us to house our food and not in a mini frig. The housekeeping staff was extremely pleasant. The desk clerks weren’t at all. I asked one housekeeper to vacuum my floor. She didn’t understand me and took me to another house keeper. I asked that young lady and she said ok and did it right then and there. I appreciate it because she stopped doing what she was doing to help me out. Also the streaming service was a great addition.
What I didn’t like was the unfriendly staff, some of them had this blank look about their face when I asked a question. The one elevator is ridiculous. With the amount of rooms in this building it’s an inconvenience to only have one elevator. The outdoor pool was a turn off. It would have been nice to have it heated. Room cleanliness: If a person is staying at a hotel for more than two days I don’t understand why there isn’t a turnover service provided every other day, I stayed 6 days (Or at least vacuum the floor and clean the bathroom every day). I had to install my own bath soap when I ran out. The breakfast times are insane with breakfast ending at 0900. I’m on vacation and if I want to sleep in until 9 I lose out on breakfast, now I have to go buy breakfast. If I go to McDonald’s or any other fast food restaurant breakfast ends at 1030 or 1100. Every hotel I’ve stayed in ended breakfast at 10 or 1030. 10 on the weekday and 1030 on the weekend. This may need to be revisited. Wasn’t please with having to pay to wash my clothes but I understand.

The Staff especially Emmanuel 😊very friendly, very polite very pleasant and super helpful...Thanks Emmanuel 👍🏽
The smell of the carpets.😫😫😫.. You definitely need to consider just plain flooring the carpet smelled HORRIBLE ! in the hallway,!!! while showering the tub water filled up the whole tub 😫😫witch meant you were standing in all that water while showering (the whole point of showering),The air-conditioner made a very Loud noise which kept some of us up complaining 😡I felt bad because I picked this hotel. I've been to the residence inn several times and was very pleased don't know what happened this time but again the staff were nice so that made up for what we weren't happy with😔

We liked the convenient location at the intersection of two Maryland highways that allowed us easy access to both National Harbor and Annapolis for day trips...
Breakfast was not what was pictured on the marketing materials. There were no breakfast potatoes and the waffle machine was out of order for our three night stay.

The location was great but I did not utilize the breakfast
One room light did not work even after maintenance tried to fix it. Also, there was no hangers in the closet, and the hanger doors did not slide easily, and eventually went off track.

Nothing
My room was not clean. The bed had hair in it and the bathroom was dirty. I ended up in another room but it wasn't any better but after driving for 16 hours I didn't want to continue to change rooms. The lighting was horrible in the room.

The location is excellent. The suite layout is quite nice as well. The breakfast choices were really great. The staff is kind, courteous and helpful.
The elevator floor was not vacuumed over the entire time of my stay. It was a definite detraction.

Location was great. The staff was incredibly nice and competent. Breakfast was good. The amenities inside the room were great. Everything you really need to stay.
Hotel a little out of date. Kitchen table had broken leg. Cabinet door under sink was broken. Main Door to unit (212) looked like it had an attempted break in with a pry tool of some sort at some point in time. It was a little disheartening walking up to the door the first time and seeing that.
