Location
Advertisement is misleading on description of room, blame this on booking. Com. Prices much higher than advertised.

I requested a quiet room 😌 they put me in a room directly across from the elevator😞 Upgrades desperately needed.

How the front desk attendant really helped me with a problem that I did not cause. She was courteous and very patient.
The wifi didn't perform correctly in two of my rooms and I had to be moved three times. The manager didn't compensate me after moving those three times.

Staff were disrespectful. Breakfast was still cold and nasty

Just continental. Nothing special
Walls are thin. Was able to hear the guest next to me entire conversation without even trying to listen.

I was charged for a king room with pull out bed on booking.com site but when I got to the hotel they don't even have a king room with pull out bed. I was very upset that I paid for something that I didn't get and to top it off booking.com wouldn't do anything about their mistake after acknowledging that it was their mistake. I recommend reserving your rooms through the actual hotel because after you purchase through them and their false advertising it's out of their hands apparently.

the paint on the walls looked disgusting there were cracks all over in the ceiling and in the walls. when I arrived to the room the smell inside the room was terrible. there area was terrible going into our room and man came up to us and pulled out heroin and was talking about shooting the property. As the night went on closer to 12:30 gun shots can clearly be heard. Overall the experience was awful it was not worth the $160.

The breakfast was only a grab and go. Disappointed with that. But did like the microwave. Bed was very comfortable.
There was no lotion. It was only soap and body wash. No shampoo. No lotion.
Also, the toilet is very slow flushing. Maybe drain issues. Water TOO hot. Scalding hot.

The location
My keys didn’t work most of the time. I had to keep getting the front desk to open the door and reset the lock on too many occasions. I was told it was set that way as a “security precaution” due to the location of that room-which is right next to the door that exits the building. . Why would they assign a room to someone if they know the room keys won’t work most of the time. I paid the same rate as other guest who didn’t have to have the front desk come open the door for them. On one occasion it took them nearly 10 minutes to fiddle with it. I was told the lock needed to be “jiggled” from the inside in order for it to work. BUT if you’re on the outside trying to get in you can’t “jiggle” it. When I returned to the room at almost 11pm, the manager had to open the door for me. He said he’d have the staff person fix it when he arrived on duty. However, instead of it being fixed, the manager was told to just “jiggle” it. The manager said he didn’t understand why they just didn’t fix the door rather than keep jiggling. Not to mention “jiggling” locks is not one of my skill sets and I have no desire to learn. After working out in the fitness center, my key wouldn’t work, so I had to go to the lobby to retrieve someone to open the door and then jiggle lock. I was embarrassed that all those guest in the lobby saw me in the raw. Those guests were members of my 50th and 51st class reunions. I asked the hotel to compensate me for the inconvenience but was told only Booking.com could do that.

The room worked just fine for Firefly. The lobby was under construction and amenities were limited, but the room was clean and good-sized and we could walk back and forth.
Had to use the back and side doors because the front was under construction.
