Stayed there before and has been remodeled since. For an emergency stay it was the cheapest around.
There was a dog that barked most of the night and early morning.

The location was close to our family’s home, restaurants and shopping.
The first room we were given wasn’t clean and we had to have the front desk employee open the door as it was stuck. The second room was better, but we always wore our shoes as the floors were dirty. No hair dryer. No amenities. Other guests hang out in the parking lot at night. We believe they were probably working at the refineries from out of town. Hotel seemed to be full every night. Pool looks like it has been closed for years. Traffic was loud. Could hear the person in the next room get up to go to the bathroom during the night. I wouldn’t have felt safe if traveling alone.

The room was comfortable and the shower was great!!

Nothing, the room was supposed to be a nonsmoking room and it smelled the a dirty ashtray.
This motel is absolutely filthy and should be closed permanently.

I didn't have breakfast as I didn't notice any and there was no coffee maker in the room.
It took me over an hour to find the place because there was no sign. When I got there I asked for late check-out and the customer service man was unhelpful. Thankfully a new trainee was there who said that I could check-out at 12p instead. The place was being renovated. There was only one uncomfortable towel in the room. No coffee maker. I thought that was standard but maybe not.

staff was nice
We had no toilet paper, shower curtains were broken, bed had cigarettes' burns all over it matching throughout the bed, making me believe sheets were not changed prior to our arrival. Staff was nice enough but that was the only upside. holes in walls, smoke alarm taken out and the bathroom fan was hanging from the ceiling broken as well. we got not towels as well....
to say in the least, this was shocking even for a motel 6.

The filthiness and the attitude of the Mgmt. pipes burst before our stay and we were not notified we didn’t have a room after we traveled 80 miles to stay there.

Motel 6-Bismarck, ND

I suggest that you take this motel off your list for making reservations. I had to get a room due to a snow storm. I signed up through booking.com. I usually stay at a motel 6 because I have dogs that travel with me. This motel 6 was horrible! I unloaded my car, then went to use the restroom. The ceiling was falling into the bathtub and plaster all over the floor. The sink had hair left in it and the one towel.. no hand towels to wash clothes ... Was dirty and stained. I requested another room which he gave me and it was not much better. The walls were filthy, the floor was dirty. There were not hand towels or wash clothes. The bathtub had a crack in the side, and I cleaned it before I took a shower. And then there were used needles under the bed. I did not feel safe here. I even slept on top of the covers because I was scared to see what the sheets looked liked. I wanted to get my money back and stay somewhere else, but trying to get someone on the phone was difficult. I would hate for another person to go through what I did that night during a blizzard.

the toilet had human feces in it and the toilet didn’t work. Obviously had to have someone fix it but took too long so I went to McDonald’s. Sheets looked barely clean I slept on top of the covers and used my coats for cover .

Not one thing
Upon checking in the staff was more than rude, they started laughing at us when we asked if it was safe so hard that the lady checking us in went behind a door with a manager or something and closed the door and continued to laugh for a few minutes. She finished checking us in and gave us our key. We had to go up metal stairs outside where a group of people huddled. We were terrified. We hurriedly tried to open our door, the key wouldn't work. She reran the key after scolding us like we couldn't read room numbers. We had to run back up the stairs through the people and try again. It did not work! When we came back down she rudely put us in a downstairs room(if available why not do this the first time)? It was freezing outside and the sheets were wet, the heater didn't work and there was no soap whatsoever. They finally brought us a tiny space heater that blew the breaker in the room 2x. We could not run the t.v. so we sat in the dirty smelly cold room all night scared to death. As soon as I closed my eyes someone tried to open our door!!! Then there were men yelling threats to each other outside. This was the absolute worst experience of my entire life. We were trying to rest up for a 19 hour drive home. Needless to say that did not happen. Motel 6 should not even allow them to use their name nor booking.com. this hotel should be listed as deadly dangerous. The Lyft driver the next morning told us 2 ppl had been murdered in the last couple months. Please DO NOT GO HERE!!!

It was next door to a diner.
This property is falling apart. There was rust on all of the metal stairs and one 2nd level area had foundation breakage. very scary!

Couldn't get into my room. Hung out in the maintenance room to stay warm while they tried to get the door open. Went to stay in a different room, bed had been slept in, dirty towels in bathroom, no curtains, the TV was missing. Booked a different hotel for the night.

The floor was peeling up around the tub not just a little it was bad. There was a hole in the wall above toilet. The window was broken. The sheets were dirty. We couldn't stay there I had to find a different place to stay. So I basically gave them my money i was not making the kids freeze all night and sleep in filth.
