Staff was very accommodating. Room very adquate.
Beds are softer than we like. We have to limit our stay to only a few nights.
4.0 / 5.0
The space was clean, orderly, and met our needs for the night. The bed was quality, the bathroom was clean, there was a refrigerator, a TV, and a coffee maker. It felt safe, and was close to the airport for our early flight the next morning.
I think the night receptionist could have been more communicative. We arrived within the hours of check-in, but they were slow at coming down to check us in, used the Ring camera to repeatedly ask my name and my purpose of being there- which I understand, still it was very loud and ineffective because it seemed they couldn't hear me when I replied. When they did come down they did not communicate clearly with me about the charges on my card, where my room was located, etc., which left me feeling uncertain as to whether or not they would honor my booking.com reservation even though I showed it to them. And uncertain about the extra hundred dollars on my card, which I later figured out was just a hold for damages to the property. All of this could have been communicated, and the check in could have taken less time.

1st Needed a third chair for kitchen table it could also be used in extra bed room to sit on
2nd very surprised and a bit disappointed the cupboards were bare. It comes with a kitchen but you couldn’t cook anything. No bowl or spoon even for something as simple as a bowl of cereal. It seems kind of dumb to have a kitchen with no utensils or plate or pan.

Brand new appearing room. Great water pressure. Was clean
Room was a little small, but not a problem for a solo traveler

Cleanliness
WiFi a little slow

This place exceeded my expectations. Not much to look at from the outside, right on a highway--but the room itself was pleasant and very well equipped, with a great kitchen and comfortable bed. I could happily have made a much longer stay.
It's not near much of anything but the airport, only a couple of places to eat near by.

I like that it’s far from downtown but just enough to get to the places you want. Also, they have easy check-in and check-out process!
We selected the one with a mini-kitchen and while they said there are no utensils included, I didn't think that they don't even have a single Pan or pot.

Obviously a 40s-50s motel at one time but refurbished, well appointed and very clean. Excellent accommodations and convenient to the airport. Checked in at 130AM and the office staff was pleasant and accommodating.
I couldn't stay longer

Everything! This was my third stay at this hotel, and it has been consistently great. They are in a fantastic location only a few minutes away from the PDX airport and only about 20 minutes from all the restaurants and attractions in Portland. The rooms are clean and comfortable with coffee, TV, toiletries, and outlets. They offer free parking, which is a huge plus in the city. The person at check-in is always friendly and helpful. I highly recommend this place, especially for quick overnight trips before/after the airport.
Nothing; everything was great!

excellent price for close in PDX
kitchenette had no dishes or flatware so why bother

Clean, recently remodeled, very well lit inside, smelled great and the shower had hot water and amazing water pressure.
Staff were friendly and courteous. Despite the below mentioned travisties of this hotel stay.
So this trip was a grievance trip for my husband and I. I chose this hotel because I knew the return jet lag would kick my butt. This was the most stressful experience on the trip so far.
So, upon entry the first thing I was taken back by was 250 dollar deposit with debit and 100 deposit for credit payments. This is not listed on booking anywhere. Nor is it close to reasonable. This is by far the LARGEST deposit I had out of the 4 hotels in this trip.
2nd, 1st impression, not so swell! It's kind of unsettling for me to pull up to a motel that is like 2 blocks away from the airport and 3 DEA agents are sitting in the parking lot with bullet proof vests and unmarked cars standing there chit chatting staring me down as I try to pull into the spot in front of my motel room 17.
That set me on edge, and then not more than a few hours later? Several gunshots and ambulance sirens....
Unfortunately for my anxietys sake this hotel will be a first and last for me.

Clean, easy check in no garbage or tents outside didnt feel shady
100.00 deposite seems steep ....what if your cold and tired just need to stop in for a night they have to hold 100.00 takes 2 days to get it back ...

good price, convenient
inside the room was under 40° when i arrived. it took over an hour waiting in my car to get it up to a habitable temperature. why couldn’t they warm up the room before i arrived?

My go to lodging in Portland. Have stayed there multiple times.
Noisy door slamming people in other rooms.

Beds were super comfy. Room was clean, as were the grounds. Price was decent.
Charged a surprise $250 deposit because I used a debit card instead of a proper VISA (I was told the deposit was $100). Then, found 2 big stains in the carpet I photographed to keep them honest.
No ice bucket in room for ice machine.

The room was comfortable and clean and the "friend of the owners" who checked me in was very friendly and welcoming.
During check in I learned that they charge a $100.00 security deposit that was supposed to be refunded as soon as house keeping made sure that I didn't swipe any towels or damage the room. Not so, it took them 4 business days to refund the deposit back to my credit card.
I had to attend a Zoom meeting after I checked in and got the error message that the hotel's WiFi doesn't connect to the internet?? So unfortunately, I could not attend my meeting.
Thankfully I'm not a light sleeper because there's a train track somewhere close by that can be disruptive if you are.

it was nice, clean, great staff.
The room did not have a desk or an area or place to sit. Sleep and shower is what you get here.

Nice clean property. Felt safe with parking available in front of our room. A/C worked great and easy access to the airport to catch our morning flight.

Very clean and bright. No complaints really.
Location, but that can't be helped, its in a more industrial Portland area with a lot of homeless and vagrants.

I liked that the place was private parking and you can see your car and reduce possible theft etc.
The bed wasn’t very comfortable at all. The biggest inconvenience is not posting before hand that there is a 100$ deposit ,we had to use our spending money on it because we had paid for the room at that point we had no choice . Have I known I would have been prepared or not booked at all .
Am currently still waiting for my deposit to post as it no longer shows pending it shows charged.
