Extremely Disappointing

The garden was well maintained. The building is striking.

0 DISHONEST AND SNEAKY: The hotel blocked the review I had written. I had to write to Bookingg.com to get the review put up, the they would not confirm that I had stayed as a guest, thereby blocking my rewards. 1 PET CHARGE: ONE HUNDRED AND TWENTY FIVE DOLLARS, up from $30. 2 No breakfast available, no dinner, no restaurants at all, but two expensive bars and a barman anxious to go home. 3 The small swimming pool was divided up with a rope so one couldn't swim. 4 The sheets slipped on a plastic undersheet, making for an unpleasant night's sleep. For comparison, I paid $25 two nights ago for my dog , and tonight I am paying $20 for a hotel with a dog park complete with two dispensers with plastic bags to clean up after the dog and two rubbish bins to put the mess in.

Great hotel, front of house let them down

Great pool, large room,

bar opening times advertised in lobby of hotel were incorrect and one member of front of house was rude, when there was issue with reservation she called room at 07.15am and was not apologetic when it was hotel error

Beautiful location nice stay.

Stairs in hall meant you couldn't push cart up to room. Hotel is a little isolated.

Location was great, entrance beautiful. It would be nice if there are more seating areas throughout the lodge to sit and relax anywhere or maybe create more common areas closer to rooms that are further away. Loved all the greenery, trees, plants etc...seemed like an oasis. we also felt safe. Staff very friendly. Seating is room was good

Temp in room not comfortable - AC working fine but we could not get it to our comfort. pool was out of service and did not say when we booked it. it would be nice to place those with dogs away from those with no dogs because they stay barking when left in the room. other than the dog barking it was nice and quiet. door hydraulic need to be check so that doors don't slam. Throughout out stay housekeeping did not pick up towels nor did they bring clean ones. We had to request them. We didn't have the do not disturb sign up so that was not the case. It wound be nice to have clean towels upon our return at least the 2nd day. No vent or window in bathroom made it stuffy and maybe add a small hook in shower to hang the wash cloth/face towel. Its the little things that matter.

There was a resort fee for breakfast and the pool. There was no breakfast and the pool was closed

The place is nice, the treatment was not.

The room was well appointed, nice lighting etc.The sheets were smooth and pleasing and Unscented! Very important. The woman with the mop said hello and good morning to me, very nice!

The front desk was not helpful, and not nice. The only way to make hot beverage in the room was broken and no one responded to request to help. No refrigerator, no microwave. Pool and Hot tub were not available and we were not allowed to walk around a major portion of the property. Room was advertised at $121, and ended up being $203! Bait and switch. We were put in room overlooking loud gate and pool equipment; like the worst room on the property, but I'm sure the place had many empty rooms.

Would avoid.

The location was good. A 5 minute drive to all of the downtown attractions.

The hotel room was dated. The carpet was dirty and stained. The toilet paper holder was broken. A resort fee was tacked on to my bill. I was told it was for the use of common areas, parking and wifi and two free drinks. Non of which I used. It was advertised with free parking. I basically was charged 30 dollars for parking. No outlets for charging devices.

Not sure I would return until place is remodeled. This property has great potential, but needs work.

Room was good. Margaritas in bar were great!

It was fine for our one night on the road stay.

The location was interesting and new for us.

The pool was not filled. There was no fridge in the room.

Only the location and adequate parking

Only 1 ice machine, carpet filthy in room, no hot water for shower I microwave on each floor, no swimming pool or hot tub had no water. Worst part rude afternoon desk person. Definitely never staying there again

Unsafe parking lot , dusty and outdated

The best thing about this hotel was the employees, they are great , friendly and really deserve a better facility.

Maybe , when the place is finished and updated we will try again. But it was really outdated, the pool was being remodeled. I didn’t like how we had to go around to an unattached building( could not get to it from the front desk and park in the dark ( there were finger prints on our car as if someone was trying to look in it in the morning) the sheets had a drop of blood and were old and scratchy, dust EVERYWHERE

It was “O.K.” I expected more.

Love the New Mexico adobe style, location to central Santa Fe. Parking was good and the Price was okay.

Older interior and in need of updates. Plans are in place but yet to be put into place update the lobby area, but nothing was mentioned about the rooms which could use some caulking cleaned up along with bathroom updates. Had to unplug the lamp to plug in the coffee maker. Clean though. Requested an early checkin, only to told to wait “couple hours”; called back and the mgr said to come in and get checked in. Found five others already checking in early. Why was I told to wait after being approved for early access? Restaurant and bar were closed as were the pool and hot tub.

Great trip! Hotel was close to everything, and had beautifulviews of the sunrise each morning.

Beds were very comfortable, including the pillows. Towels were in good condition as well. Free coffee every morning. Nice dog area too.

I wish they would have provided some type of light breakfast since there wasn’t much around there.

The room heater and TV were not working. I figured out how to get the heat on since it was chilly in March. The staff was helpful by offering a space heater.

The view and room pictures on the internet sold dream stay compared to the letdown of reality!

The view

No refrigerator in the room. Comunal microwave. Tv reception was foggy Toilet was too low to the ground. Bath faucets were installed incorrectly and the on and off were inverted. No bathroom ventilation!!! You could feel the bed springs.

If you’re passing through town and just want a cheap place to stay, look no further.

Great price.

The front doors wouldn't stay open and the front desk assistant didn’t the to help move a large amount of luggage. The hot tub that was listed as a selling point didn’t work and hasn’t for a while. No restaurant. No bar. No treadmill in the workout center even that the picture shows one. Huge miss.

Should be 1 star rating.

The restaurant is closed and has been closed a long time. There is no secured entrances. When we arrived, we were told that our reservation couldn’t be filled. It took nearly an hour to find appropriate rooms - we flew in from Amsterdam to Phoenix and drove nearly 8 hours to arrive here for Christmas. We had requested adjoining rooms. They couldn’t accommodate and we were exhausted. Ice at side doors was dangerous.

The bed was very comfortable

No refrigerator Had to plug the phone in and the TV. Seemed a little expensive in comparison to other places I have stayed. Of course everything is more:$$$ in Santa Fe

Awesome Pool on a hot day!!

The pool was wonderful. Nice and refreshing. The man at check in desk was so nice, helpful and kind.

Maintenance man was a jerk!! Our AC wouldnt work so we had to move to another room. But maintenance man was so rude. Spoke to me in a loud hateful tone. He was a jerk!!

Sweet, open feeling, with a welcoming vibe...

This spot was welcoming from the opening of the door, straight through the entire stay! Helpful front desk with very open hearted and graceful style... The room itself felt good and we loved the balcony as well as the little walk across to the very refreshing pool. Thanks for all of this!

The facilities were gorgeous. The manager and the front desk person were very helpful when we encountered a problem with our bill. Also they recommended some great places for us to check out on our stay.

No exhaust fan in the bathroom. Also we were very disappointed the restaurant wasn't open. Once we come back from a day of siteseeing, we don't like to drive to go out for dinner.
