Lokatie en gebouw/kamers hebben enige historische betekenis.
We moesten 100 dollar borg betalen en the old town viel een beetje tegen

Breakfast was good. We loved the history of the hotel. I am recommending Eureka Inn to everyone that I talk to. I loved the history of all the past presidents, their wives, movie stars that have stayed in your hotel.
Breakfast- maybe some bacon. A little more lighting in the room. A couple of complementary bottle water.

Beautiful, historic hotel. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Parking was adjacent to the hotel.
No complaints.

The Eureka Inn is one of the most interesting hotels I’ve visited. From the haunted vibe - hey, can you beat a photo of Boris Karloff who stayed there on Halloween? Or the Presidents in the lobby? Or the labyrinth that is this hotel, until you figure it out. And the staff even fixed me up with a new room when my neighbors became a little too inebriated.
Can’t think of a thing.

I love staying here, but I canceled the rest of my stay and they did not refund the rest of my nights after I was told they would.
The communication between staff. I called and canceled my stay because I was broke down, the guy I talked to said ok I would just be charged for the next night due to 24 hour cancelation policy and they never wrote it down and I was charged for the remaining 4 nights. I only stayed 1 night.

It felt like stepping into the 1920s,30s,40s. Lots of history. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Easy walk to Old Town
Unfortunately we had work zoom calls scheduled and the internet in the rooms is very poor. We also hit one of the warmer days of the year so third floor was a bit warm with no AC

Beautifully maintained historic hotel with friendly staff. Very clean. Great location.
The mattress was not very comfortable.
4.1
The ambiance, continental breakfast, secure parking and every staff member was gracious and accommodating.
The passenger elevator was not working. The staff graciously ran the freight elevator when needed as my friend has a hard time with stairs.

We didn't expect the history of the Eureka Inn. We enjoyed walking through it and learning about its history and seeing some of the artifacts from the past. It had an old-world charm about it.
The bathroom was tiny, but that is to be expected in the smaller rooms of an historic inn.

secure parking
breakfast was minimal, could have provided more.

The Inn is a charming historical landmark. The bed was super comfortable and the rooms were clean. The breakfast was a cut above your typical “breakfast included “ fare.
nothing

Really nice public spaces. Lots of great history. All the staff were friendly and accommodating. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Great location, easy walking distance to downtown.
Restaurant/bar was closed. Walls to adjoining rooms were thin.

it is a very special time-honoured hotel not only but especially at christmas with extraordinary friendly staff. the property looks like out of a movie, has also served as a set itself and has hosted all sorts of celebrities over the years. endless corridors lead to older but clean rooms. we traveled there in december so the prices were good accordingly. unfortunately the restaurant was closed but there was a small but nice breakfast in an extra room. everything else was within walking distance and Eureka itself is worth a trip. we booked very spontaneously and were able to extend very flexibly.

It's kinda quaint. It's part museum. If you like old stuff you would probably like it. It has an interesting history, if you are into that kind of thing. It's conveniently located, close to restaurants.
The wifi is worthless. We expected an elevator and were told when we arrived that the elevator was out of order. We were on the 3d floor. We had to drag our suitcases up these narrow stairs. The tv is antenna. I didn't even know that existed anymore. The floor of the room is slanted. It felt like walking downhill to go to the bathroom. We tested it with a ball that immediately rolled to the other side of the room. I don't believe the elevator works at all, they just tell people it's out of order when they arrive. It's actually a violation of the federal ADA, every public building with more than 2 floors has to have a working elevator at all times. The window casements haven't been painted in decades. Paint flaking off.

charming old hotel that is steeped in history.
a bit long in the tooth in some areas, but I’ve heard the owners are trying to restore

A cute historical Victorian hotel building. It is old, but the history value brought us back on a time line. Continental breakfast is good, Room is comfortable.
The window curtain is old and already torn. Can be replaced with a new one. Bathroom is really small. I wish the restaurants will be reopened.
