good place for a short stay

great breakfast and coffee all day, newspapers at breakfast, nice room and lobby, free parking

Not value for money..

Great location. Very clean and peaceful ambience.

The staff could have been a little more courteous. Breakfast was limited, considering the price.

Far exceeded expectations with thoughtful touches throughout!

Breakfast was great and had plenty of choices to start the day! We also loved that there was an outdoor eating/hangout area where we enjoyed some takeout for dinner. It was perfect for our kids to sit and color and to have safe outdoor space to play vs being kind of cooped up in our room (though the room was lovely)! Also... in the lobby there were a near constant supply of complimemtary chocolate chip cookies fresh from the oven - a thoughtful treat for guests :-)

Hampton is a great place for family trips

Beds are extremely comfortable, free breakfast is delicious, staff is very friendly and accommodating. Pool is family friendly. Nice lady who checked us in arranged for 2 adjoining rooms. Hotel is very clean. We had a great time.

No restaurants within walking distance. But that is no fault of the Hampton.

Won’t book again. Not worth the money. Hampton used to be a good hotel.

Location

Room was not up to par, bed is to soft, tv had some sort of splatter that wasn’t cleaned, dirt is corners of room and bathroom. Breakfast with the exception of the waffles was mediocre. Eggs were ok, potatoes were cold and tastes like they had been in the freezer too long, muffins were stiff and cold like they hadn’t defrosted or just taken out of the fridge. Loved our stay and can't wait to come back.

We loved the location. It was nice and quiet. The breakfast was excellent, as is expected at Hampton Inn. We loved the room set up. Everyone was really friendly and helpful.

The bed was very firm which made it hard to sleep or get really comfortable. My husband ended up sleeping on the couch or pulling the sofa bed out to sleep at night. Even with the air conditioner on, my husband and I were still hot and would get sweaty. The wifi was fine for the standard person, just need a little patience for any streaming. If you're looking to do big downloads or expect really fast speeds, I recommend you do those before you get here.

Stressful. Pet fee expensive since she clearly wasn’t welcome.

Nice room and lobby. Good breakfast

We stayed because our vehicle had broken down on the 89. We had our dog with us. The staff made it clear that pets were only allowed because Paris Hilton has pets. They were not pleasant about our dog being there. One staff member even went to get another to complain about where my husband was sitting with our pet while I was getting our breakfast. In the written rules it was unclear. He was far from the food area. When he spoke to my husband to move he was rude and condescending and this in front of others guests. We travel in hotels often with our dog. This was not a great experience. A positive note is that when our vehicle was ready faster than expected they didn’t charge us more because we had passed check out time by about one hour.

Guaranteed room does not mean guaranteed

Not happy at all with the experience.

I was guaranteed a 2 bed queen room that was non refundable. When I arrived at 9:15, our room had been given away. This was most disappointing and the room felt unclean. Sheets on the couch were questionable.

Perfect hotel with many restaurants and shops near by

Excellent breakfast. Friendly staff. Clean & Comfortable beds. Fun Pool. And close to our son’s home in Sunapee NH, antique mall in Quechee Vt, and King Arthur’s flour store Vt.

Excellent choice for value and convenience

The room was impeccable and provided all sorts of space for three adults to share comfortably. The breakfast was also tasty, with a great choice of courses and well cooked.

The dining area might have been a little cleaner, but we realized we were in a time when it was challenging to find enough staff for upkeep.

Very good

Clean, sweet staff. The breakfast was pretty damn good compared to the average continental. The location wasn’t bad - about 5-10 minutes from a downtown area, and Quechee and Woodstock are fairly accessible as well.

Only downside is the pool is small and not heated. would’ve been nice to warm up after being in the cold all day, but that’s my only issue.

Hugely disappointed

Morning of 11/6 desk clerk was wonderful and friendly and knowledgeable.

Room itself was eh, but the stains on the couch made me want to gag. If it's this filthy and you can't clean it, it should have been removed. See below photo. Heat/cool register was so loud I barely slept Pool was frigid. If there is going to be an indoor pool perhaps warmer would be a good place to start. I specified to have rooms close. Didn't mean next to each other but close. I was on 1st floor, coworker on 3rd when I booked a month prior but when I got there the clerks response was, oh well. We're fully booked and they got here first 😡 I've always stayed at Hampton Inns when we travel. I will now rethink that after what I experienced. Not at all impressed. Hotel needs some TLC for sure.
