close to the beach, Waimea Canyon, and other adventure outings. The cottages were amazing for a family!
4.0
We loved the location, ocean, beautiful grounds, quiet, and darling historic cottages. We also have very special memories of a previous visit over 20 years ago. The town of Waimea is charming too.
The restaurant was extremely basic and had plastic silverware.--it was disappointing. The staff was very nice, though.

Calm, beautiful landscape. perfect Accommodation for family

Reserved a room here to get a remote area where we could watch the meteor shower. This place exceeded our expectations. This was a beautiful little cottage right on the beach. IT was quaint but it was everything we needed. No, this is not the Marriott but it was so much more. We walked out the front door of the cottage and walked right up to the beach. There were so many stars in the sky and there was no light pollution anywhere. We will definitely return again
I don't believe there was anything that we didn't like. It was close to town and the trail. IT was just what we wanted.

We loved everything about it. When we asked for a BBQ it was promptly brought to our cottage. We got married at another location and my husband requested the office staff to bring champagne, chocolates and flowers to our cottage for our return. They did a beautiful job and made the evening perfect.
Larger variety of items in the gift shop. I know there is limited space but would have liked to see more options for all ages.

Quiet and beautiful location, amazing vegetation (fruit trees) and close to the coastline, cute cottage with all amenities (also for cooking), private parking in front of the cottage, good location for hikes in the Waimea Canyon.
The rooms are a bit outdated (especially the bathroom), the curtains in the bedroom are see-through, lots of mosquitos (but that's not their fault).

The location was perfect for my trip.

Friendly staff, close to Waimea canyon.
We basically booked a property on this side to watch pretty sunrises, but you cannot see them from the seaside here unfortunately due to the trees. The pool was okay, but not too special and rather cold. Lots of mosquitos to sit comfortably outside.

amazing location, sweet cottages, humans are quiet, loved bird’s chatter
would be nice to have more menu selection as many items were not available on night we ate on site

incredible location it’s right on the beach and Waimea is a charming off the beaten path town.
They only clean your place once a week and you have to request it. getting fresh towels is not automatic
4.0
The location, close to the beach. Cabin was spacious and outdoor seating.
4.5
A lovely experience in a lovely location. Cottages were well-spaced so there is a feeling of privacy and seclusion. Quite a ‘quirky’ idea of re-located and original plantation cottages - which added to the fun of the experience. Ours was very comfortable. Nice outdoor pool too.

Location was perfect.
Relaxed, comfortable and beautiful surroundings.
Toilets too low, no safety bars in shower

Great location near boat tours & the beautiful Waimea Canyon. The property is just like the pictures, & well maintained. Quiet & peaceful.
No A/C in the living room area, which can get uncomfortably hot.

Waimea Plantation is a tropical paradise; Beautiful landscape, fully equipped cottages - right on the ocean - beautiful beaches to walk. The town is quant, the people are friendly and everything you need is right there. We love it

location, plenty of space for kids to run around, staff were super nice

The ocean view cottage we had was very quiet and private and directly on the beach. The beach was great for walking, and the grounds had all variety of fruit trees (delicious mangoes!!!) and bird of paradise flowers. There is even a small Catholic Church adjacent to the property that we walked to on Sunday morning. The staff, especially Curt, were very kind, friendly and helpful. We couldn't have had a better 40th Anniversary get away!
4.5
lovely facility, felt friendly, safe and relaxed. beautiful view and nice pool
it would've been useful if the staff had some more info on the local area activities and how to book and if we could've gotten breakfast at the property
