The front of the building is very cute, there is a nice well kept garden to walk through, warm breakfast with several options.
The price we reserved on Super or booking was NOT honored, they wanted us to pay 2x the price we were promised when booking and said the account had been hacked from India to make the rates cheaper. They cancelled my reservation without calling or emailing me- just sent a suspicious text with a link to “ rebook” directly through them. For the prices they are charging better customer service is expected.
The walls are paper thin, very noisy, can hear everything outside and from the neighboring rooms. The “ rooms with a view” aren’t what is expected when a “view” is offered, there were just a couple trees outside our window. The room we stayed in was poorly designed, the bathroom door and shower door are in the same corner making getting in and out tricky- they cannot be open at the same time. The pillows left a kink in my neck.

I was treated like I,was the only guest. Wow. Exceptional
The directions to Windsong shouldn't have included Getting back on main road which was hard to find. The should have said turn right when you leave parking lot. The numbers on the buildings made driving around easy.

Loved watching the wildlife from our little deck! Also loved the upgrade I was able to get get by asking.
The shower didn’t have safety rails. The buffet breakfast was very meager.

The staff is AMAZING. So attentive and friendly. The room was large, comfortable, stocked with extra towels and pillows. Clean facility. Grounds are beautiful.
I have no complaints about the facility itself.

The swimming pool was not able to be used after 10 pm, something that is not detailed on the website. August 13th was my birthday and also the night to see the beautiful shooting stars, even though we told the staff they didn't pay too much attention to the situation and just "rules are rules" was said.
Also, we need to call the staff to set the second bed before 10 pm (it was key locked and there is no way to be set by ourselves), which means we need to go back to the house before that time, our night was broken in half, and we were not able to stay at the beach because of that and we were not able to enjoy the stars at the swimming pool place just because the rules. Not really happy.

Cozy accommodations. Plenty of room for our family of 6. Clean rooms. Quiet property with plenty of trees and foliage.
Breakfast was good and varied but was chaotic. Staff tried very hard to help.

Everything about the resort was excellent. Only problem was the room was so hot that I had to buy a fan. Then I found out that they could have turned off the pilot light and supplied a fan for us. They take care of their guests!!

The breakfast had a really good spread.

Breakfast needs a competent person directing the flow - the staff was not very helpful with a large group of guests during the breakfast session.

Delicious and hearty. It would be nice if they came around to refill the coffee cups.

We were having troubles with our car rental and the staff at Cambria Pines Lodge were exceptionally helpful and supportive during this difficult time. We were stranded in Cambria without a car and the staff allowed us to check out late, use the hotel reception telephone all day, as well helped to coordinate a ride for us to the next city. We really appreciated their time, guidance, and support!

We received great value for the dollar. We loved our room! Spacious, well-appointed, quiet, clean, comfortable, AND our dog was welcomed! We also very much enjoyed your lovely included breakfast.
Hmmm, can't think of anything!

It's a beautiful location. The restaurant and lounge are fabulous.
The ant brigade which we are told is common due to weather. This isn't our first stay with them and I never experienced it before. It seemed that nothing is done to try and get rid of the ants.
Also, I was charged by Booking.com and the facility. I have been assured that this has been corrected but I'm still waiting. It is very disappointing to have to worry about these charges.
In the past, I have purchased one of the specials they offer. This is the only way I would ever return.
